Imo PDP Sacks Chief Emmanuel Iwuanyanwu Over Alliance with Governor Hope Uzodinma (Photos)

An elder statesman, chieftain and BOT member of the People's Democratic Party (PDP), Chief Emmanuel Iwuanyanwu has come under attack from the Imo State Chapter of the party, over what is perceived to be his alliance with Governor Hope Uzodimma of Imo State.

Over the weekend, the Imo State Government held a meeting of all stakeholders in the State at the Eze Imo Palace in Mbari. As expected, Chief Emmanuel Iwuanyanwu was one of the notable opposition big wigs in attendance at the meeting.

Chief Iwuanyanwu has been vocal about his support to the Governor of Imo State, Senator Hope Uzodimma, whom he has described as a man with a large and accommodating spirit, urging Imo people to give the Governor a chance to prove himself.

As expected, Iwuanyanwu has come under heavy friendly fire for what members of the opposition PDP consider anti-party activities and a betrayal of some sort.

A National officer of the PDP, Chief Madu Chinemerem had lashed out at Iwuanyanwu, noting that in recent times, Chief Emmanuel Iwuanyanwu has ''displayed perennial tendency to act on a whim by displaying political behavior characterized by little or no forethought, reflection, or consideration of its consequences''

Madu advised PDP members to be wary of the damage Chief Iwuanyanwu is causing the party through his unholy alliance with the Governor Hope Uzodimma government.

He even went on to advise Iwuanyanwu to review his membership of the PDP or quit the party.

The elder statesman had retorted that nobody can sack him from the Peoples Democratic Party.

Chief Iwuanyanwu stated that he played a major role that assisted the PDP in being announced as the winner of the 2019 governorship elections.

Iwuanyanwu said that he was made a life member of the Board of Trustees of the PDP, because of how much he has committed his resources for the party's success.

Efforts made by Nigerian News Daily correspondents to reach the State Publicity Secretary of the PDP, Mr Ogubundu Nwadike, was abortive as he was not available to make any statements.

Chief ought to have retired from politics and assume the role of an Elder Statesman.
Allowing disgruntled people to start humiliating his personal is not good for his image.

It's simply because they have unrestricted access to data and the Internet.
He should name any tribe in AFRICA where their LADIES Home & Abroad gather once every year in unity to conduct women's meeting called AUGUST MEETING... with the sole purpose of moving their community forward.

May be we should educate him about the ABA WOMEN'S RIOT of 1929 too.. What can be more United than that..?

May be we should educate him on the IGBO BUSINESS APPRENTICESHIP system which has no rivalry in Africa. Which many are envious of.

May be we should Educate him that IGBOS in Diaspora contribute 70% of the 25 Billion dollars attracted into Nigeria from Diaspora and PMB is thinking of borrowing of the IGBO diaspora unitary account.
What else can one term unity if not these? .

He should ask himself how a TRIBE without FG's Attention secured the highest number of private jets in Nigeria, with Anambra alone having 30%.
