Fact is the reason most of this players chose to represent us is because USA didn't pick them

Like I said earlier, experience matters

These tigress players barely play in the usa women's league

Shame on Nigeria sport/basketball association

We are not going anywhere.

We allowed ethnicity and bigotry to blind our eyes to the real talents. A lot of very good talents were dropped just because of their Muslim names and/states of origin.

Even if we hired the 'good talents' you talk about, we would have still lost.

Nigeria , even if we put out our 'best team' is not good at basketball...largely because it is not a popular sport and thus there is a very thin talent pool to choose from

The countries that we have lost to so far, they have sports facilities in their secondary schools that some most Nigerian universities can only dream of. They also have structures in place...from youth to senior level...as well as lots of properly trained coaches.

In the US, which we lost to, there are basketball courts in many towns and even villages.

How many basketball courts exist in Nigerian villages? How many kids play basketball compared to football?

The day we take steps to improve these issues is the day we start winning and competing. For now, we have to rely on the limited talent pool that we have.

You are a clown. The team is chosen based on players in well structured basketball leagues. In the worlds' largest and most sophisticated basketball league- the NBA, there are 29 Nigerians, and only 1 is a Muslim. Fortunately, that one is included in the Nigerian Basketball Team, so what are you saying?

This is the full list of Nigerians in the NBA including those playing for other countries, and their religion, now count the Muslims and see if they are substantial:

1. Chuma Okeke (Christian)
2. Giannis Antetokunpo(Christian)
3. Thannis Antetokunpo(Christian)
4. David Nwaba(Christian)
5. Victor Oladipo(Christian)
6. Deandre Chidike Ayton(Christian)
7. Bam Adebayo(Christian)
8. Jahlil Okafor(Christian)
9. KZ Okpala(Christian)
10.Andre Igoudala(Christian)
11. Gabe Nnamdi Vincent(Christian)
12. Precious Achiuwa(Christian)
13. Jordan Nwora(Christian)
14. Udoka Azubuike(Christian)
15. Chimezie Metu(Christian)
16. Zeke Nnaji(Christian)
17. Isaac Okoro(Christian)
18. Onyeka Okongwu(Christian)
19. Desmond Edidem Bane(Christian)
20. Josh Okogie(Christian)
21. Jeff Akhigbe Green(Christian)
22. Miye Oni(Christian)
23. OG Anunoby(Christian)
24. Al Farouq-Aminu(Muslim)
25. Wes Iwundu(Christian)
26. Daniel Oturu(Christian)
27. Kostas Antetokunpo(Christian)
28. Semi Ojeleye(Christian)
29. Ike Anigbogu(Christian)

So after seeing this list, if you are the coach and you want the best for your team, will you leave all these even-more talented Christians for only one Muslim? Is it only the Muslim that will play a match?

We have a basketball league, which has a male and female section, and several basketball teams, amateur and professional.

Even then, like I said, not enough players from which we can select enough good talents. Also, structures at primary and secondary school level are non-existent. Then lack of facilities, lack of enough coaches, lack of money, etc, etc.

Why aren't they playing in Nigeria?

Aside from Nigeria, have you ever of all players representing a country in the Olympics, none of them is playing in countries league?
