Well, I think its they're trying to avoid paying the 5million for every 50games played and also saving him 4 d difficult matches, I expect him to play more @ d 2nd half of the season. But, sergi roberto has been doing well this season so its okay IMO

It’s because when Barcelona bought Semedo from Benfica, they added a clause of Benfica getting paid of 5 Million Euros every 50 games Semedo plays with us (till 250 games I think). And our board being our board, a bunch of cheap idiots who are stingy about money, they want to defer these payments as much as they can. The same holds true for Denis Suarez, for every 10 games he plays with us, Man City gets 800k Euros till he hits 100 games. Why do you think Denis doesn’t get playtime despite his good showings in whatever time he has been given?

Rotation is a nonsense excuse in case of Semedo. He is young with fresh legs and has to play as much as possible to get used to the team. However Bartomeu has other ideas up his sleeve, bringing RMesque politics to the team lineups (atleast what Perez used to do). And Valverde doesn’t show the balls to stand up to this nonsense (which is why he was brought in the first place).
