The increase in the number of deaths is getting worrisome. Do what is right cause if you test positive, only you would face your battle alone.

what should the government do?
I think we should just manage ourselves and our environments with guidelines from health authorities.
We are just a difficult people, aside having corrupt leaders. I found it funny when LASU went into panic and even closed down or so due to covid. This is still us that are quick to label the situation scam and criticize government efforts. Even vaccination, enlightened people still demonized the intervention. And hesitancy was so high.
Now it's creeping back up and we are still asking the same government questions. Let them just leave everybody to his discretion, faith, and fate. Let the fittest survive. In fact there is no covid, na malaria we de see de label am wrongly.
Let's accept we are difficult to lead! Everyone is an expert in this country

Nigeria has a very youthful population, but the thing is, even if people are dying, who will notice? More people are being killed by violence and the government does nothing

Since when does a virus thrive and spread during the summer/sunniest time of year? The sun is in its glory and whatever variant of the virus is going crazy? ... and you wondering why people labeling the whole pandemic a scam. Keep following the numbers and the FG guidelines.... your eyes will soon clear.
