Because it is one thing to say you are a christian and it is another thing to actually be a christian...Christians that have attained stature in Christ will hear Christ's voice and will trust His lead. This will ultimately lead to making the right marital choice. Christians that have been renewed from within and have a relationship with God will bear fruits unto righteousness. Fruits of joy, peace, love, endurance, patience, faithfulness, meekness and goodness are necessary to sustain a marriage and only Christians that bear such fruits can have an enduring marriage!
