The National Caucus of the PDP on Friday agreed to submit a tentative date of October 30-31st, 2021 for the party’s national convention.

The Chairman of the PDP Governors Forum, Aminu Tambuwal, announced this after the National Caucus meeting of the party in Abuja, on Friday.

The resolution of the Caucus meeting as read out by Tambuwal states: “We have just risen from our 40th meeting of the national caucus of our great party the PDP, where we have resolved to submit to the NEC of our party tomorrow recommendation from the national working committee for the National Convention of our party to be held between Friday 30th of October to Saturday 31st of October.

“The venue will be determined tomorrow by NEC.

“Also, this distinguished body had empaneled eight distinguished leaders of our party under the able leadership of former President of the Senate Sen. David Mark to interface with our leaders who are involved in these issues of court so that all court matters can be now withdrawn and then for normalcy to continue to return to the party.

“I appeal on behalf of this body to all well meaning members of our party in the interest of the party to shield their sword and let us embrace peace because Nigeria is waiting for PDP and I believe that we have the capacity to resolve whatever issues we have internally.”

PDP will regain power in 2023. I'm not a false prophet, neither am I a true one. But whatever I say becomes life.

A party of looters and criminals that couldn't construct their National HEADQUARTERS for 16 years want to build a country!
Awon werey 100%.

Going on memory lane for those that suffer from collective amnesia around, AKA Children of hate, frustrations and perdition..
The 12-storey structure projected to serve as the national secretariat of the former ruling Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) is tottering, being a borrowed vision that was not contemplated by the founding fathers of the party.

After organising fundraising on two occasions and gathering billions of naira, the office could not complete that single project.

As such, five years after work on the site was stopped in 2014, the new helmsmen in PDP are crying for funds to see to the completion of the building. However, the cry for more funds has raised fresh concerns over the status and whereabouts of the N21billion raised during a special fundraising dinner organised by the party on December 2014.

Incumbent PDP national chairman, Prince Uche Secondus, recently lamented that there was not enough money to complete the new national secretariat, which cost has was varied upwards from N11.5bilion to N16billion.

The then governor of Kaduna State, Alhaji Namadi Sambo, an architect, was commissioned to put up the project design. And in a bid to get the structure off the drawing board, PDP organised fundraising on November 14, 2008, targeting N10b out of which it raked in N6b. The dinner was chaired by Vice President Goodluck Jonathan and the highest donation came from Mr. Femi Otedola, while the richest man in Africa, Alhaji Aliko Dangote, announced a donation of N3b worth of cement.
UP TILL NOW, Nothing to show for it.
They even sold the cement Dangote gave them and looted the money!

May it never be well with those supporting evil and looters in this nation.

This dead and looting party doing all they can trying to stay relevant.
Awon werey 100%!!

Same people will move down from APC if things change. Party ideology must be strong. Rule 1 you can not contest until 18 months after your defection from another party..................................

It's nice that the problem can be resolved amicably. We don't want to go down the era of Sheriff and how there were numerous legal tussles. Nigerians have no other good opposition that will be able to fight the current APC. SO YOU PEOPLE IN PDP needs to get your acts together.

From 1999 to 2015 the Nigerian Constitution was perfect.

As soon as the PDP lost elections it became the worst constitution in the world.

Before 2015, Nigeria's federalism was perfect.

As soon as the PDP lost elections Nigeria's federalism became "untrue".

Since then the PDP and their foot soldiers have been moving around with torchlights in the daytime looking for "true" federalism.
