The FIRS should negotiate with Southern states instead of all this there gragra which won't help them at all. They can let states keep 60% and give 40% to firs, and all the 36 states and the FCT will share the 40% equally among themselves. The FCT can keep on remmiting 100% as the FCT sha. The FIRS will lose in the Appeal and Supreme Court. And concerning the bill they sent to the National Assembly, that one is dead on arrival. The bill will still have to pass through the 36 states house of assembly, and they need 24 states to vote in favour of the bill. The reason the FIRS is fighting this hard is because of themselves sha, not really because of some Southern and Northern states.
