Proposed Legislation Splits Stakeholders • Electricity Firms Kick, Threaten Shutdown Over Liquidity Crisis • Host Community Law Necessary, Says Jaiyeola • ‘Confusion Imminent In Sector If New Bill Scales Through’ A new law being proposed by the National Assembly as part of an amendment to the Electric Power Sector Reform Act (EPSRA) may compel electricity generation companies to fund host communities with five per cent of their revenue, thereby further increasing the cost of electricity in the country. https://guardian.ng/news/new-law-to-make-nigerians-pay-more-for-electricity-underway/

They will never protest against this. This proposed law by the senator is like robbing paul through tax to provide for peter but paul who is very clever will be the one to provide the equipment and also set the cost of electricity to squeeze every last juice off peter. During the endsar protest, when they are supposed to be protesting against increase in Vat, electricity tarrif, police brutality they were protesting for gay right and things that are out of touch with the average Nigerian. Anyway, you all miss your chance, all your favorite activists from endsar are busy traveling the world with their American passports while the other one is shouting revolution today, while another one is a pdp boy. 4 Likes |

⏩ Buhari & his anti-people government. ❎No government in the history of this country has brought so much suffering, poverty, hunger, hopelessness tears & death to its citizens like the Fulani govt of this man.❎ Sad thing is that, he surrounds himself with people who delude him that he is the 'savior' of Nigeria, and in his small uneducated mind, he believes them ☹️☹️☹️☹️ 2 Likes |
