I expected this. It was even sold cheaper in Katsina markets this week. I was in Mai'Adua and Mashi (pix attached) and the red price fluctuated between #42,000 to #44,000/ 100kg while the white (small) was sold at #36,000/100kg.

The red beans are from the Niger Republic, so because of Katsina proximity to the Niger Republic, the market prices in Katsina determine the prices in Kano.

Those prices have not crashed. For beans price to crash, it must be below 30k

They are already in the market. Katsina have started harvesting the small white beans since last month. But Zamfara have not started.

As for those who are planning to store though, it is not advisable to store the ones that are in the market now. Ciao!

This oloka beans doesn't look good. First time seeing it. Best beans is big honey or brown beans that have a short cooking time like rice
