A protest to mark the first anniversary of #EndSARS movement has begun at Unity Fountain in Abuja.

The protesters gathered with a big banner, with the inscription, ‘We never forget. 20.10.20. #EndSARS memorial.’

In Lagos, celebrities and activists have joined a car procession at the #EndSARSMemorial protest at Lekki tollgate in Lagos.

This is despite a ban on protests in Lagos and the heavy presence of armed police personnel at the tollgate.

The celebrities and other activities who turned up at the tollgate with their cars were seen waving Nigerian flags from inside the vehicles and honking the horns while singing solidarity songs.

In Abuja, however, protesters can be seen raising placards, and chanting, as they gathered at Unity Fountain.

Charity begins at home, that is what I believe.
How do you eat an elephant, one bite at a time, Sowere should stop trying to change Nigeria as a whole, he cannot do that, nobody would believe him.
He must first build a prototype, use his own state as a model. I swear to God if he can do that, he would win the whole Nigeria.
Sowere has a local government, he should first unite his people, then his state then his region. It is madness trying to change Nigeria at once, I can't vote for Sowere

Nobody died at the toll gates lets stop with all this bullshiit. Buhari is leading Nigeria to becoming the biggest economy in the world. Nigerians are living the best life ever known to mankind. The poverty rate in Nigeria is less than 0.9%
