number 1, 2 and 4 are an applicant's own doing.

number 3 would be a real demoralizer. but more realistically numbers would have been cut down via testing and only like 25 would be invited for a job requiring a final choice of 2.

Sorry mate - 1 isn't the applicant's fault - one does not get to post invites to themselves, the essence of the poll's not to determine who's @ fault / not - these are scenerios that happen to most people @ some point in their job hunting phase,

3 happens all the time - some worse than others & even having to shuffle thru 25 peeps for 1 / 2 positions is bad enough,
