Just this evening,I was on 90kph and gbam I met an incoming vehicle on a one way road/express,thank GOD I was on 70kph and I kept to the left,now imagine if I was drunk and was on 150kph on right lane.

Well you forgot to follow up the case as the colonel was drilled & questioned by the military authorities for the stunt he played at the sight of the governor, he basically disgraced himself and the uniform with the stunt he played at the sight of the Governor saluting a him anyhow like a fool & a weakling. A Governor can easily and successfully sanction a military officer from the rank of a Major and below not a Colonel (probably he forgot that). and if he had given an excuse that he was getting late for assumption of duty the governor/military authority can't do shit even if he reports him

Na people allow am. Down south that "all man for himself" mentality is really a bítch. You will watch while someone like you is being bullied and you just walk on like its nothing.
Up north even if the victims are poor, they will find a way to get justice. Theu will call on their local traditional leaders who will in turn call someone he knows, before you know it one general who is related to someone somewhere will be involved and there will be hell to pay

You also forgot that the military herachy thereaftet paid the governor a courtesy visit offering their support to the governor and fashola used the opportunity to remind them that his administration will not tolerate any lawlessness from any quarter.

you should know already that the visit is just mere formalities and nothing more. they'd really take no orders from him if he had asked them to punish the Colonel
