Are there not Yorubas in Benin Republic as well as Nigeria. Same with Hausas in Niger Republic and Nigeria? Igbos can have their Biafra and some Igbos will still remain Nigerians.

Instead of a roundtable negotiation to resolve Nigeria's national faultlines to foster peaceful coexistence and build patriotism among different ethnicities in Nigeria, obdurate evil personification like you will be disturbing the peace of Nairaland.

I have already told that Edo sccom that we are already above divide and rule,Igbo is our identity not artificial state creation,am from Ebonyi today yet I wasn't from Ebonyi untill 1996 am older than Ebonyi state,my former state was Abia untill some of my side got carved into Ebonyi and Enugu, state creation can change because it's artificial but my Identity as an Igbo can never change smiley

It's not a problem. It's a choice.

Delta and Rivers Igbos will most likely vote to remain Nigerians. Nigeria will have to find a way of differentiating them from Biafrans.

Once core Igbos get Biafra, they lose automatic Nigerian citizenship. To become a Nigerian, you will have to apply for citizenship.
