The Boko Haram, ISWAP and all the bandit groups scattered across the region do not attract the sympathy of the North and none of their leaders even pretends to represent Northerners or protect the interests of the region. They are indefensible criminals. Simple and short. If you have ever come across any northerner endorsing the operations of terrorist or bandit leaders, I challenge you to submit your proof—and I’m not asking for some fabricated account or screenshots of faceless accounts on social media.
From Mohammed Marwa AKA Maitatsine of the early 1980s to Mohamed Yusuf of the late 2000s, the North has never formed a consensual bloc in defence of the operations of criminal and insurgent groups. The rebellious groups have always functioned as outcasts, and fiercely opposed. Maitatsine and Yusuf began as laughing stocks in Kano and Maiduguri, respectively, and treated as lunatic clerics and considered misled and lost, before they broke out and got out of hand. They were never ever popular leaders in the northern society.
So, o I read ignorant takes about northerners

All we need is restructuring. Each region will handle it's affairs.

Northern lawyers should ask for the execution of Kanu and Igboho for massacring their people. They are terrorist killers not freedom fighters.
There is absolutely no difference between these two killers and Shekau of Boko Haram. Shekau wanted to break up Nigeria and establish his own brand of Islamic Caliphate, Nnamdi Kanu wants to break up Nigeria and establish his own brand of bkack Jewish state and Igboho wants to break up Nigeria and establish his own brand of Juju tribal state. In the process they are all killing Northern Nigerians who they consider enemy soft targets. So where is the difference?

As the government hunts down and kills Boko Haram and their supporters, it must hunt down and kill all supporters of IPOB and Oduua terrorists.

Any leader of of terrorists group should be killed. No one should be spared because some terrorist newspapers are supporting him by calling him freedom fighter. It is their acts, not the name given to them by their supporters, that matter.

Government should order shoot at sight on any member or supporter of Kanu and Igboho as it ordered on supporters of Shekau. Killers deserved to die no matter name they are called or what cause they are fighting for. Kar a raina mana hankali mana.

The buzu above me still don't understand what we are seeing till the day he or she will run out of his or her house seeking refugee in the south that's when he will know that real terrorists have taken over norths.

You are still blindfolded by religious and tribal sentiment while neglecting the real fact. Do you know the number of people killed every day by boko haram, kidnappers, Fulani herdsmen, bandit and now Isis + iswap.

I don't blame you after all alhamdulillah will always be the order of the day no matter how many that lost there lives.

The country should stop using her resources to fight fulani wars. These conflicts going on in the north are mainly fulani tribal wars! These are not Nigerias wars. Fulani oligarchy in the north came through wars and if certain segments of the north wants to get rid of it through wars, so be it...Boko Haram arose as a result of conflicts from the ultra conservative strand of wahabbi-sufi Islam as promoted by the Fulani across the whole North. They brought that thing into Nigeria. They killed to spread it and they insisted on the most conservative practices and behaviors, which led to the emergence of religious radicals and fundamentalists.

Almajiri system of education is an offshoot of these teachings. In order to have a firm crude control of the children, they came up with this very evil practice of snatching kids from their parents and sending them to faraway places to be indoctrinated with all sorts religious nonsense by some radical mullahs. These kids grew up with no parental care. Most times, the conditions of their learning environment are so gruesomely crude that the children can only graduate into hardened terrorists or anti social elements.

Since the fulani played a major role in this, we should allow them enjoy the benefits of their operations. If the ex almajiris decide to fight them, that should be seen as retribution and not as a Nigerian headache..

So this man remembers Awolowo's warning Just like every other human,Awolowo had his shortcomings.but his warnings on Nigeria's future were top notch. He forsaw the consequence of taking IMF loans and attendant devaluation of the naira. The unemployment situation we are experiencing won't surprise him wherever he is, because he warned against importation of finished products and the consequence on local industries.
Your Awolowo was one of the biggest evils that happened to this country! And I think we have taken enough of your whitewashing of his odious character in places like this. He killed to sustain Nigeria as it's today. How then can you look at Nigeria as it's presentli and not blame him for his evil beliefs?

I don't really understand the glaring hypocrisy in those people.

You claim western education is haram yet you use the inventions of western education to live larvishly and enforce your crude, unproductive and destructive islamiyya education which isn't adding any "desirable" contribution to the world...

The mentality of these people still baffles me anytime anyday twice on friday...

I am not here to launder his image but tell us the economic future and political solution your ethnic leader profferered for this country. 3 regions existed on independence,he was the only one that allowed the creation of Midwest region out if his own south west, your leaders shutdown minorities agitations.
I remember shagari comes on the 1st of January with his budget while he brings his alternative budget the following day.

Check your ethnic group to look for those that killed to sustain Nigeria. At least when he went to prison with 21 years jail term all his enemies celebrated. He was in prison when the constitution drafted by all tribal leaders before independence to live together as Nigerians got changed unilaterally. Will you also blame him for that?

The consequence of born throway children, let them continue to feed on each other in the north, they need to reduce the useless population . The only thing that I hate is they will post southern security officers to the north while the northern one are doing traffic work in the south.

Awolowo told your forbears, the Great Zik cried himself hoarse that children are the LIFE of Tomorrow, but they're preoccupied with GRABBING power even when they did not know how to use it. From Senegal to Mali, from Chad to Niger - all countries where the Fulani hold sway - how relevant to today's development paradigms is their hold on power? Shit meeeen.

Awolowo was an intelligent man.

The whites described him as being too intelligent for an African and even for his era.

I was listening to one his speeches on YouTube and I cringed at the intellectual that Nigeria missed having as president.

So his education and intelligence gave him foresight and he knew that Nigeria was on the wrong path.

But the north was busy fighting western education. Even till this day, they are still practicing Islammiyya system of education where children are probably taught in Arabic than in English.

The north is still in 15th century as we speak.

Intelligence of reducing all bank accounts belonging to Igbos to 2 pounds and simultaneously selling of major National Assets then to ensure that no single Igbo man could by even ordinary spoon? What had civil war to do with bank accounts belonging to Igbos. Till date every Yoruba man following his footsteps is busy selling all his properties to Igbos waiting for another civil war to retake his properties the Igbos. Placing your hope for future in another man's sweat.

The worst part is that when ever the issue of insecurity in the north poops up on social media, you will not hear their voices. But let topics on NK or Igbos comes up, boom! They all find their voices. So strange and its beyond explanation. The hatred that comes out from their criticism can cook beans within few seconds.
