1. First of all currently Nigeria is not Africa’s largest crude oil supplier its Libya. 2. Nigeria is not one of the continent’s richest agricultural sectors and is definitely not a leader in Africa in terms of farm output if we were we would not be experiencing current hike in food prices 3.Thirdly Nigeria does not have any main agricultural exports the list here cocoa, peanuts, rubber, and palm oil are based on happenings in the 1950s and 60s these sectors have long gone morbid since the discovery of crude oil. 4.80% not 10% of Nigeria’s GDP is generated by its oil and petroleum industry. 4 Likes 1 Share |

Because a website has this information doesn't mean it's a credible source. A true yardstick that shows the wealth of a country is expressed as GDP per capita which takes the population into consideration as it shows the impact of GDP on the average citizen. With this yardstick, Nigeria isn't a top 10 rich country in Africa. Or how does one explain that Angola which is No.10 on this list has a 2022 budget of $45 million for 22 million people and Nigeria $35 million for 206 million people Odewaleadesoye: 2 Likes |

/ Africa is really very poor. The best in Africa is Nigeria with about $500b. Tesla is the 5th biggest company in US with a capitalization of $1.05T which means it is 2x the GDP of the best Africa has to offer. Even Google ($1.97 Trillion) as a company is worth more than the top 10 biggest economy ($1.925 Trillion) in Africa. SMH. So the net worth of Elon Musk and Jeff Bezos equal to the GDP of Nigeria (the biggest economy in Africa). / 1 Like |

What did you expect of a continent where timeliness & deadlines are never given respect? What did you expect of a continent where mass disorder is the norm? What did you expect in a continent where public office = self enrichment?
