bombing).

As long as the world exercises no restraint in issuing global currencies such as the dollar -- and this is not easy -- then the occurrence of another crisis is inevitable,If the domestic policy is optimal policy for the United States alone, but at the same time it is not an optimal policy for the world, it may bring a lot of negative impact to the world

NATO is not in Libya to protect anything but Western economies from crumbling. Ghaddafi's call on oil producing nations to change the status quo of taking payments in dollars and opting for GOLD payments and his threat to implement this in no time sent panic across western nations and they waited impatiently for the right time to strike. They prayed he would react to western funded civil protests as predicted and he foolishly did.

Claiming that Libya was going to bring down the Western economy sounds to me like a pipe dream. Especially when it is obvious that Libya while being a major player in the oil industry is not that big when placed in context with the rest of the world.

The questions you have asked about the man not leaving power when the ovation was loudest still baffles me. I guess its typical with most African dictators. Be that as it may, NATO is not there to liberate the Libyan people.

Well maybe they're not but the Libyan people certainly appear to appreciate their presence. Plus of course both sides may eventually benefit if the see Gaddafi off.

@ Poster & 1stCitizen, nice posting and qualitative back-up. My take at this issue is such that all parties involved have something to either gain or lose in the aftermath. The fact that Benghazi does not hold the ace in that country should not also make Ghadaffi think of himself as being indispensable. Even if the western world had vested interest in the oil rich country, would it not have been honourable for the sit-tight warlord to take his bow a long time ago?. I mean, 42 years in a man's life is a whole lot!!!!!!, what other spoil(s) of office could he have asked for?.

You can bet if he had taken a bow when the ovation came loudly and probably installed a stooge of his, there probably wouldn't have been so much noise like this, but for the fact that he had held the citizenry by the jugular for so long, he just felt the people were his property having provided such amenities for the country all the while. Alas, the populace raised their voices just for once and you call that western influence or sponsor, nah!!!!. he had quickly forgotten that it was this same western education his countrymen have had access to for the ages past. Tell the strongman to ask Fidel Castro how he went about his own domian in order to keep the west at akimbo!!!!.
