Notable Ijaw Scholar's History Book On Bonny Called Out As Fraudulent by 9Pluto(m): 10:08pm On Dec 15, 2021
A notable ijaw scholar's History Book on Bonny has been called out as fraudulent.

A Chronicle of Grand Bonny is the title of the book co-authored by notable ijaw historian about the true origin and identity of Bonny/Ebane people. However, it is embarrassing to note that several acclaimed leaders in the academia while conducting a peer review of the said book called it a disappointing and non scholarly write up.

So the question is:

If ijaws claim about Bonny is factual why publish a doctored account?

When you suddenly wake up one day and realized your ancestors/ethnic group/ tribe has not achieved any tangible thing of pride through the course of history , that could incur a humiliating and haunting feeling.

Take a very good look at the murky history of Ijaw origin; not a single reputable city they could call their own , their language is not well defined and classified to corroborate with the Ijaw dialects they are brandishing, the records of their behavioral traits leaves much to be desired--- they were defined as criminals who lived entirely on their wooden canoes and has penchant for sea piracy , a desperate person like Alagoa will do just about anything to revise that history or erase that history.

It is silly to claim originality on borrowed name. Even the word Ijaw has numerous progenitors. The delusional Alagoa attributed one of the sources of Ijaw to Portuguese who called the people residing along the rivers in Niger Delta as "Jos". Ijaw is purely "boat people" from Akwapim-Togo region.

University of Ibadan will have it hot for engaging in such stupid scheme.

University runs on reputation and when she is considered a propaganda organisation, not just any propaganda Organisation but an ethnic one, Hmmm, I won't like to tell you people the damage it will deal to her.
