A Frontline Socio-Cultural Organization, Afigh Iwaad Ekid on Thursday, 16th December, 2021 conferred numerous awards on distinguished sons and daughters of Ekid Land.

In it's weeklong Celebration tagged; Relevance of Socio-Cultural Organization in the Economic Development of Akwa Ibom State, Afigh Iwaad Ekid in one of its activities,  held an award night on Thursday at Royalty Hotels to recognize sons and daughters of Ekid Nation.

Top on the awardees list was a Gold Award given to Hon. Akan Okon, Commissioner for Works, Akwa Ibom State, Pastor Samuel Effiong, Lead Pastor of GloryWorld International Gospel Center for his outstanding life touching programs in Ekid Land.

Barr. Akpadiaha Ebitu also bagged an Award of Excellence from the appex Socio-Cultural Organization, and many others too numerous to mention.

In other developments, the pioneer President General of Afigh Iwaad Ekid, Late ObongIwaad Mbong O. Mbong was honoured with a Posthumous award and recrown the President General of Afigh Iwaad Ekid through the son, ObongIwaad David Mbong.
