Happened:
WE ARRESTED UCHE NWOSU - POLICE

This is to inform the general public that chief Uche Nwosu was not kidnapped but was arrested by the police and Imo state police command is aware of the arrest and presently he is in police custody.

This is to refute the earlier news that has being making rounds on social media that he was kidnapped by unknown persons / gunmen.

The Commissioner of Police while using this medium to assure imolites of the command's commitment in ensuring the safety of Life and prosperity this yuletide seasons , adviced the general public to always shun fake news .

CSP MICHAEL ABATTAM POLICE PUBLIC RELATIONS OFFICER
FOR: COMMISSIONER OF POLICE IMO STATE COMMAND.

First of all, I am neither a supporter of Rochas nor Uche Nwosu. But why will the police/army invade a church where people were worshipping in the name of making an arrest especially in this day of heightened insecurity in the land? Why could they not respect the sanctity of the church or the citizens worshipping there? Do they not know how to enforce a search warrant or where his home is?

Arrest? That was a commando-style abduction.
There was no police arrest in the method adopted.
Kidnap was the method.

Police and their wahala, imagine putting someone inside boot and shooting gunshots into the air, unless there is a new definition for arrest. If say they hit person that one for be another tori.

Rochas Okorocha, Uche Nwosu and Hope Uzodinma are thieves that need to be dealt with.
These three musketeers are part of the problems in that state.

Glad they came out to diffuse the fear/ tension. They should mean better ways to arrest a suspect than creating panics.

That's why I have no pity for police officers they like illegality, tension & confusion

According to police "He was arrested for case being probed"by who Pls which case

Where is the warrant of arrest Has he ever being invited Which law court gave such order and when

So to arrest someone now requires security personnel using armoured carrier or commando style of arrest And who ordered his security aid not to challenge the abductors

Seems because Christian's are docile, that's why you see security forces entering churches and acting up when service is in progress.

Up north, they no born them well to enter their mosque and do rubbish when prayers are going on.

Though I don't support any illegality

Why is it that President Buhari did not compensate him with a federal appointment having lost the Imo state governorship position to Hope Uzodinma?

President Buhari is just too divisive and sectional in his administrative conduct.

Uche Nwosu was even expecting something positive from Mr President having been invited to Abuja by the presidency.

Abattam further appealed to the general public “to always shun fake news”

If the security agency had an arrest warrant and the man was arrested by the corrupt LIEGERIA POLICE, why all the display of bravado....shooting indiscriminately? This is really stupid and pathetic at the same time. Your ONE NIGERIA is going to KILL all the UNITY BEGGARS in the process of keeping it one.
