You can imagine what twitter would have contributed to our economy, had you not banned it for political reasons. Next year will do you justice.

Honestly, I don't doubt this.

Tech has been phenomenal in attracting investments, capital and innovations.

And this is inspite of the govt, not because of it.

The digital economy really helped many Nigerians from dying. But this old man should know that it was all self effort at creativity and resilience. Nothing from government in terms of incentive or enabling environment. If anything, the government even tries to kill digital economic activities with their draconian approach to it. Imagine if Twitter wasn't suspended how much money young people would have made in between time? What of the frequent arrests of youth holding electronic gadgets and labeling them online frauds by police? How much of their monies were spent on bail or even taken forcefully at gunpoint by security agents? Does he know how many people they cowed out of doing e-business and many more that were scared from starting? What of the bad policies and decisions that affect prices and overall business operations? This man should let us be abeg. We are making it against all odds and the least he can do to himself and his likes is not to come now claim the glory of our self effort.
