These kinda pictures are nothing new to Lagos and it will remain so for a couple of reasons. 1. In this day and age, people still empty their trash into the gutter when it rains 2. The drainage system on our roads is almost non existent 3. People STILL build houses in places that waterways should be (who allocates the land?) 4. We sandfill everywhere all in the name of a mega city Neways, the caption to the first picture is really interesting, "Inu Osa" LMAO. |
