So it's all about "deal with them"?

Shows how poor you are. Men are busy building business empire for their unborn generations and here you are cheerleading along ethnic lines.

What will your children inherit? Your old cheerleader clothes?

But where did he say anything about "deal with them"?

This is commendable. Peugeot will soon becomes Government official brand. Cause Government will patronise them very well. Unlike that INNOSON substandard, Chinese made Vehicles. Which are moving Coffins with zero safety features. grin

It is not enough for them, they are never satisfied. They want federal government to give innoson part of aso rock to used as innoson motor assembling plant then they will demand the the president should visit the plant on daily basis

Expect kogi state governor to purchace over 500 vehicles from dangote for several state ministries and buhari will make that company the official supplier of vehicles for federal ministries to ensure that the company excel...this is the kind of country we live in

That’s because it’s Peugeot. The Automaker is tested and trusted, and has proven its reliability for decades.

That we cannot say about Innoson. It’s a Chinese product!

Dangote cars will be expensive, for the same reason Innoson is expensive

A lot of the small components that go into a car are made outside Nigeria, and that adds to the cost. Then there is the fact we never completed Ajaokuta or at least commenced production there....

Sure, Innoson is trying to make many of the components here, but till we have more small component manufacturers here in Nigeria, forget about buying a car for less than one million naira.

Plus, your beloved APC did nowt to strengthen the naira...

Who is afraid of competition? Innoson is already swimming against the tide with the non regulated influx of tokunbo cars into the country. Innoson do not need 100% of the Nigeria auto mobile share to thrive. He is doing well at the moment, maintaining his market share and trying hard to expand. His newly launched automated plant tells the story of progress.

With a population of 200 million people, there is enough room for everyone to operate, biko.

Innocent vehicles are too expensive. I've personally checked....

People are funny o, they still brought issue of tribalism into this but this is business, and the only tribe recognize in any company is money. If you check dangote company very well, we will see some Igbo and Yoruba silent billionaires who are shareholders and same thing for Innoson motor company, people from all tribes in this country will purchase the car.

1.Peugueot has been kind of the 'official car supplier' for the government for decades...so kogi hypothetically buying Peugeout would be par the course.

2.Government still buys Innoson...and even now, Soludo has announced that Anambra state would be buying innoson cars when he takes over this month

Dangote is a savior. Monopoly has its advantages, it’s better we have dangote goods flooding everywhere than Chinese substandard goods flooding everywhere with our money taken to china to develop it from their rubbish goods. Monopoly checkmates substandard goods. If it can guarantee jobs for our teeming youths and ensure affordability in prices of those goods, I am in support of the monopoly. If you wish to break it, work twice as hard then.

It's because they are substandard Chinese made Cars. They are made with substandard materials in China. It's like comparing the price and quality of Chinese made Itel Phones with any American made phone.

Plus has glo pushed out MTN and airtel, despite coming in 5 years after them with subtle government support?

I think I have read on several occasion that Fed govt purchased vehicles from Innoson.

And I think innoson should try to cut cost of his vehicles at least for average Nigerians to be able to purchase them. Both company are welcome and we want more of it.

The brand has standards and has replicated its safety and reliability for decades. So if I m mandated to buy either of two, common sense will definitely make me opt for Peugeot. Cos they have a name to protect.
