Look, one thing I have learnt from my childhood is this, a child chooses the kind of life he or she wants regardless of whether parents dey involved or not. So whether raised out on the streets, by both parents or even a mother or aunt, the child makes the ultimate decision as far as his/her character. No one else can make that decision for her.

There are no general approaches in this since each child coupled with circumstance is unique as it is. However, there are commonsense approaches that are tried and tested and the foolish approaches that should be left in the toilet of time where they belong.
