Its been days without electricity here in Ibadan amidst long queues in petrol stations, people are hungry as well, what exactly is wrong with Nigeria?

social polarization is getting worse by the day due to maladministration and pervasive corruption, I'm so sick and tired of this country.

It's all about 2023 elections now, none of them is really interested in addressing the numerous problems bedevilling us

Those who vote evil candidates because of selfish, tribal and religious sentiments will always live to suffer through their choices.

I don't know if relatives of Federal Government officials are on this forum? The good that you do will live after you. Pls talk to your folks!

Basic things for life are luxuries in Nigeria....

Thunder will fire anybody who has been to abroad, enjoy good life and saw how system works but comes here and start having unnecessary rage on hearing about people's plan to japa..

They keep yammering about how people live from paycheck to paycheck...

But at the end of the day an American who lived from paycheck to paycheck will have still lived a good life than the yahoo boys in lekki who camouflaged as oil company workers and Bitcoin traders...

In Nigeria forum all everyone talks about is money money money. I won't blame anyone cause one needs enough money in the country to even qualify as a human living otherwise one is just merely existing...

Stupid country

the supporters of this government are here on this platform, but I'm not sure if government officials and their families read news here, they engage in gaslighting every now and then instead of listening to the yearning and aspirations of the people

thanks, as a Christian it wasn't easy then for me, but I looked beyond tribe and religion, my desire for a great and prosperous Nigeria actually pushed me to vote for him, I know a lot of intellectuals and media houses that campaigned for buhari indirectly considering the corruption under Jonathan and boko haram as well, some well meaning Nigerians like myself couldn't tolerate it any more then.

Though I voted for Jonathan in 2011

though I will never leave Nigeria in search of greener pasture, it's not all peachy out there.

Desperation is pushing many young Nigerians, we need to stay back and build this country, who will elect credible Nigerians during elections if we all leave? though it's a personal decision.

I was hoping he will prove his critics wrong by providing good governance and dividends of democracy, but like you said, see where we are today, a broken and dysfunctional country, there's nepotism, marginalisation, insecurity in every nook and cranny of Nigeria.

I will never trust any politician in Nigeria again till I die.

Good morning dear

The government has not performed very well, I am seriously still wondering if iPod Soupleem Reader was right to say the Buhari in Aso Rock is not the original.
But as terrible as his govt has been, I cannot imagine a Jonathan second term followed by Atiku would have been any better.

The achievements in 6 years of PMB still far exceeds those of 16 years of Obasanjo, Jonathan and YaraDua combined.

98% of the suffering we suffer today was caused by Obasanjo administration.

From his introduction of the criminal 1999 constitution which was not drawn democratically via a national conference. Then his disposal of our commonwealth and waste, the corruption of lawmakers, the signing of unfavourable agreements with external companies and governments . It would never be well with him. Obasanjo would pay for his crimes.

There will be no revolution.

Look at the way many Zoogerians have treated people who have the balls to stand up I.e. Sowore, Igboho, Kanu.

I don't feel sorry for Zoogerians at all. Not one bit!

The only solution is to break up because as far as the 99 constitution is active, Nigerians will continue to suffer. Any real attempt to change the constitution will just be another trick.

Zoogerians! Wake up and smell the coffee.

As for people who are planning to vote in another calamity be it From SW, SE or any part of this country just because of selfish gains and the little money they will see which won't last them more than a couple of days, destruction will be their portion and that of their generation.

Seeing how bad things are presently, we as a nation ought to be looking for sane and responsible individuals who will pilot the affairs of this country very well and not the usual, regular and popular looters I see some people killing themselves for here.

end sars did not change our leaders, they've all forgotten it, it's now business as usual.

About revolution, there's no unity of purpose between north and south, we saw it during end sars protest.

What you wrote is the exact thing thats going on in the East. People are starving to death here. More families can't afford to buy food. Due to the worsening state of the economy in the East and the high rate of food stuffs.

FG, UN, UK, should come to their rescue. A State of emergency should be declared in this region.
