For those who don't understand the war between Russia and Ukraine, here it is using a family perspective...

Russia and Ukraine are husband and wife with children.

The marriage eventually got messy and Ukraine (the wife) asked for a divorce and it was granted.

Most of the children stayed back with the wife.

Chief Russia is a very rich and powerful man with influence.

The eldest child of the marriage called Crimea (male) was taken by his dad to live closer to him and have a strong bond.

Lolo Ukraine the wife loves Crimea too and the bond between her first son and her estranged husband made her upset and she complained to some of her friends who didn't really like her husband.

Her friends are in an association called (NATO) and most of them are also wealthy.

These friends made up of mainly 2 women called "Mama US" and "Oriaku UK" called Crimea on phone and told him to severe ties with his father Chief Russia.

They tried to convince him that his father was a bad man and that he should come and stay close to his mother (Ukraine)...this they did for years and one day, the issue was brought to court (referendum) and Crimea being an adult male was asked who he wanted to be with and he said he preferred being with his dad Chief Russia.

This angered Ukraine and her friends but of course, it was a court ruling and there was nothing they could do.

Interestingly, Ukraine even though separated from her husband was living in his property.

Her husband before the crash of the marriage had an estate called Kyiv Estate with recreational centres like resorts, restaurant and bars with hotel apartments which she manages...her friends come there to drink and while at it, they tongue-lash and lambast her husband talking about how irresponsible and vicious he is.

Russia the husband knows all these but kept his calm because he is a busy man and understood that women will always be women and they must talk.

Secondly, he had other engagements to do with his precious time.

Now, what caused the present fracas was that out of their kids living with Madam Ukraine, two of them as they grew kept in touch with their father.

Their names are Donetsk (male) and Luhansk (female) and they are direct siblings of Crimea.
(*Donetsk and Luhansk are provinces in Ukraine but hold allegiance to Russia)

Donetsk and Luhansk usually call their father on phone for hours asking him how he is faring and their father in turn usually sends them gifts both in cash and materials.

This trend made Ukraine very uncomfortable and at first she tried to turn her kids against him telling them that they should severe ties with their father but the kids blatantly refused.

Then Ukraine took a drastic approach, she started maltreating Donetsk and Luhansk by beating them at any slightest provocation. Sometimes, she starves them leaving them without food and when they complain of hunger, she snarls at them scornfully telling them that their "uséless father" should come and feed them since they chose him over her.

The friends of Lolo Ukraine turned a blind eye to the maltreatment of those kids because they never liked Russia. They felt that their friend Ukraine was right and the children deserved the punishments meted on them.

When the maltreatment became too much, the children begged their mother to allow them relocate and live with their dad but Lolo Ukraine would never hear of it.

She instructed her servants and security details (Ukrainian soldiers) to endure that the children do most of the hardwork at home and should never be allowed to go out of the estate for any reason whatsoever.

She further gave the servants the freewill to punish Donetsk and Luhansk whenever they felt like.

Russia on the other hand got wind of the maltreatment of his dear children and initially, sent constant messages to his estranged wife to stop but Lolo Ukraine remained adamant.

Her friends begin to make lots of noise telling anyone who cares to listen that Russia is a bully and is planning to harm their friend and the rumors about the maltreatment of Donetsk and Luhansk were nothing but lies!

Then Russia decides to take a drastic decision...he sends some of his boys to forcibly gain entry into the property which the wife occupies.

His boys (Russian Soldiers) storm the property and take possession of the recreational centre handled by the wife, chase all the customers away temporarily, seal up the place while putting Donetsk and Luhansk in their protective custody and then decide to take over the administration of the various parts the estate.

They lock up the gate of the premises and won't allow anyone in or out of the compound.

When this happens, Lolo Ukraine puts a call across to her "trusted" friends to send help in form of law enforcement or their own thugs to help her fight Russia's boys but surprisingly, they don't show up because they know who Chief Russia is and how deadly he can be because prior to the fracas, he (Chief Russia) sent a stern warning to the association that if any of their committee of friends involve themselves in the matter between him and his estranged wife, he would deal mercilessly with the person.

With that warning alone, her friends steer clear. The only thing they resorted to do was to go over social media ad writing SOS appeals for Madam Ukraine stating that Russia sent his boys to the premises to beat Ukraine and her staff and that as a matter of fact, some of her workers are seriously injured and even possibly killed.

They do all these to gather the sympathy of the people and to demonize Russia.

Chief Russia being a smart savvy man orders his boys that they should take video surveillance of their activities in the premises and post them online so people will see that they are only there to take stock of the finances and administration of the business

Understanding your position:

Using the above narrative, we can see that NATO has been working acidously hard to convince the whole world that Putin is a villain.

Not surprisingly, many Africans including Nigerians are vouching support for Ukraine.

The president of Ukraine should have listened earlier on but felt that NATO would shield him no matter what happens.

Putin is only trying to checkmate the excesses of the West in the East which is his territory which to me is not bad in any ramifications.

But here in Nigeria, some pastors are busy "praying" for Ukraine. The same e Ukraine that just recently threatened to shoot black students and kept them stranded at the Polish border while giving preference to Ukrainian whites first!

Who did this to us as a continent?

Why hasn't the Pope said or taken any action?

He can play a major role in restoring peace.

Putin must stop!

Accurate, you could have also added the fact that the friends are forming a relationship with the woman just to get closer to the man in other to hurt him.

God help Ukraine sha!!! War is never good

Well...very apt but I do not support any of the blocs, be it NATO, Russian, Chinese or Middle eastern bloc having total control over the world.

So in this case even if Russia are worse than what is potrayed in the media, I will support them because of the fact that they can and are keeping NATO in check wink

Imagine if we did not have the Russian, Indian & co software hackers, we would not have the plethora of cracked softwares & games we have...

What about the low cost labour market of the Chinese coupled with the lack of respect they have for western technological patents, we would not be enjoying huawei, xiaomi, oppo, tecno, etc phones, gimbals, drones, cars

Some products might not be as good as those in the west but some are also as good and I do not need to overemphasize how beneficial it has been to the third world countries most especially West Africa

Well explained. Everything is not black and white as the media portrays.

Remember the media will not go against its owners interest.

I would love to watch the news from Russia.

You have clearly and unreservedly shown that you're the one that's heavily in need of help to ameliorate and cushion the effects of dogmatic and empty "believe" in a West controlled medias.

Your unenlightened mind can't get on the internet and search for the truth behind the conflict ongoing in Europe. Instead of you and your misinformed and disinformed cohorts on the platform to broaden your horizon on why Russia has sent a small delegation of Special Military Operators to Ukraine, you are here basking in the euphoria amidst blissful ignorance and displaying same for us to see.
Why will the People of this country be respected in the comity of nations when what is on display on this platform is gross and crass ignorance of the political schemes-of-things playing out before our very eyes.
Carry out your Research beyond the pages of Western medias, maybe you and those still "keyboard-warrioring" might get enlightened to understand better and fairly exercise unbiased judgement.
God be with you.
