Nonsense. During GEJ era, crude above $100 was a blessing you all referenced at one point or the other.

But during your tenure now, it's a curse.

GEJ NO PAY SUBSIDY?

MAD MEN.
same thing I was about to ask o. Just imagine this useless people. They claimed oil price was too low and that was the reason they could not fund projects now it is high they have come with another excuse. Did Gej not pay subsidy? Buhari is a useless president Walahi

To make matters worse. This same Buhari has spent Billions of Dollars on these same refineries that they say are not working.

Shebi 'Pastor' Osibanjo went on record to lie that non-oil earnings has grown to 70% under this regime

He is right. And those earnings are from North and West. Unfortunately, the East didn't contribute to the 70%

A well managed Nigeria would be happy to see oil prices rise. It's such an irony that no matter what happens with oil prices, Nigerians still suffer.

All these brouhaha between Russia and Ukraine would have become a great opportunity for Nigeria to make more money.
Unfortunately, we are afraid because our leaders are bereft of ideas.
How would it have be, if only our refineries are working?
We would have been making money both from crude oil and refined products.
However, there is still some gains from the crude oil sales invoice.
The problem is that our government will not get the information right. All accruing gains from crude stocks will be treated as being spent on subsidising importation of refines products for our consumptions.

I hope we will be able to get leaders who will have know how to get Nigeria and Nigerians back to productive life lines.

Dr Goodluck Jonathan and his team are very good in managing the rising crude oil price, is it not high time we demand Goodluck Jonathan to take over power again in Nigeria? Rising in crude oil price should benefit Nigerians!

Let's set aside the refinery talk for a minute.
So the increase in Brent is of no use to the Naira (which should mean better exchange rate = competitive pump price) ? Where did we get this dumb mofos?

If you are still rooting for these bunch of old-self-serving-confused-bastards, then your father should have used a condom!

I am not understanding. I thought Jonathan was accused of not taking the country to the promised land at $100/barrel. So we should be looking at the promised land, why the lamentation? What changed??

The Gulf war in the 1990s earned us a huge revenue so why is increase in crude now a disadvantage?

Since 1999, no Govt can improve the economy so we can refine our crude locally?

Something that we ought to benefit from is now a disadvantage for us.

Later , if the price fall now, we'll be in trouble again

It'll end well for all our leaders from 1999

Honestly we need a sincere President to come and break the jinx of petroleum problem in the country .. Do we really need subsidy if this thing is being refined in our refineries. ? Do we need to be importing refined fuel at this age since we have started producing crude oil..? It is just a matter of management problem .. Their TAM cost is more than what Dangote is using to build a new refinery... Cursed leaders everywhere ..

How does the chaos affect fuel price
Russia is one of the largest supplier of crude oil, now nobody wants to buy from them. Their buyers are looking for other places to buy, meaning we have more people in demand for crude oil, the more the demand the higher the price.

80% of the Oil Prce increases Profits will filter through to Nigerians because even unrefined Crude, Oil has escalated in price so that Nigeria finally has the money to build new refineries without making any excuses

Natural gas price has escalated too
