Now, there's a thought: see, the Drone footage, as it approaches the bridge, indicates that the asphalt is laid on elevated, slope sided, foundations. The Akwa Ibon pictures showing the route to the bridge being constructed as a link to Bonny Island was similarly elevated. I'm guessing that this is a feature of bridge building. Nevertheless, it occurs to me that this feature may also work as a feature for detering armed bandits or at least rendering them vulnerable. Something that may work for new inter state roads if adopted Nationally. Possibly may help with erosion and causes of road deterioration; but, who knows, not me, I'm not a civil engineer.....
