The whole of Europe is no match for Russia just like they were no match for Germany before America came through for them. Ukraine is only being slaughtered as a pawn

It was not even the United States that are victors of World War 2 it was the Russians. The demise of the Nazi regime began when their troops invaded Ukraine, against the agreement between Stalin and Adolf Hitler. It was Russian troops that surrounded Hitler's war command center. These was what caused Soviet growing influence in Eastern Europe after WWIII leading to creation of NATO.

I can't really argue who's richer and more technically advanced between Germany and Russia because I haven't visited either of the 2 countries, but however I'm interested in knowing the metric you used to measure the technological advancement and richness of Germany over Russia
it's easy to measure, check their GDP per Capita, check their foreign reserve, check the strength of the Euro against the Russian Rubble.... You will find every answer to every question

Its not to late to check the outcome of President macron and Putin himself yesterday. At least google carried that story...

I support Russia as against the west and anything that associate itself with it

Really? outcome like France saying the worst is yet to come, and that the west must come up with tougher sanctions and be prepared to face the repercussions?

You think Russia can sustain a war with a crippled economy?
You cannot occupy a nation of over 40million unwilling people, no Afghanistan is a clear example, there is no victory for the Russians in the long run, moreover the Ukrainians have had a better run in this war than the Russians.

Russia is stronger than Germany.

As for the United Kingdom, they are not even as strong as South Korea.

The United Kingdom is living on past glories, and have NATO to thank for their relevance in military affair.

Don't get me wrong, they are still strong (at least ranked 9th in the world), but nowhere near Russia, China, and South Korea.
Are you comparing strength to the number of nuclear weapons possessed?

Hehehe, the GDP can be used to rate standard of living of a nation but not the treasury of a nation. The strength of a country's currency is not a good metric to use when measuring technological advancement and the overall wealth of a nation. I taught you are going to say something we haven't heard before. if you stick to your metric, China and Japan which have very weak currencies will also be considered poor countries and that's not so in reality. The western media has really done much damage to how so many folks analyze and evaluate things.

Putin is just taking it easy with this guy and Ukraine. I wish this guy would cut off the western influence on him and Putin to put an end to this invasion.

He is not taking anything easy with anyone. He miscalculated and that’s it. He underestimated the Ukrainians. What else can he do that he has not done besides using a nuclear weapon, which I bet he won’t use, because that’s going to automatically be the end of this stupid game he’s playing.
Y’all rate that guy too much. No country can defeat the whole world, no matter how powerful. Not even US can!!!

Ukraine will just perish because no one will want to face Russia because of Ukraine.
Ukraine better use their head.

Russia will destroy this country and the people will forever hate them whether Russia wins this war or not the people of Ukraine will never forgive Russia.

You want people to be loyal to you yet you are destroying all they and their fore fathers have worked for. Russia will gain nothing but a long-term enemy after destroying Ukraine.
it's far better than having a NATO/USA military base in Ukraine

Exactly, what's left to lose? They'll just make Putin go from bad to worse with their sanctions and zelensky is daft, instead of him to settle thru dialogue, he's inviting other countries to come and use his home as battle ground
we elected a herdsman as president
They elected a comedian as president
Buhari and zelensky are funny

In this age and time, nobody wants to be slave to anyone.. we see it here in Nigeria. At the end of the day, what you say is what will happen. There are better ways to go about this.

Who says Ukraine should join NATO in the first place. I insist you don't go around killing innocent women and children because their husbands are perceived to be criminals. Kindly learn to also have some forms of minerals by not asking people to keep quiet during a debate!!
Topmaike007:
OGA keep kwayet wetin Ukraine go gain if she join NATO at the expense of Putin protecting his own country, and moreover USA did the same in 1962 in Cuba when Russia installed military base/missile there..what is good for the goose is also good for the gander

They are expecting Ukrainians to hands up meaning if an enemy comes to his house to kill and destroy while his family look up to him as the father of the house he will give himself in and his family but he forgot not everyone will do such thing...

Don't fool yourself bro,Ukraine is losing this war as the day passes you won't hear it much cos the media that's controlled by the west ain't pushing it...

Infact y'all feeling the sanctions thing is going to hold,I ask u guys and wanna hear from you all,did it even occur to u that Putin might have this all drafted out...do you think Putin is that dumb and do you think there's a bigger power play here cos the world is watching how the US can't attack even when they are told not to,cos the US I know act like they fear nobody....

Russia can and will deal with this sanctions later,I believe but now is the time to send a strict statement to the west and make the world realise there are two side to this story we read on their apo daily

Based on empirical lists by Global Firepower.

Global Firepower lists do not factor access to nuclear weapons.

For January 22, the top 5 include:

1. The United States

2. Russia

3. China

4. India

5. South Korea.

Germany did not even make top 10.

He's already dropping lots and lots of bombs. Theyre even using cluster and vacuum bombs, these are dangerous bombs that has bewn banned from being used in warfare by the geneva convention

wars are won with money, man power, technology and intelligence.

Germany is more technologically advanced than Russia, richer than Russia, has adequate man power and if it turns to an all out war, they have the capacity to match Russia in every square inch.

That they adopted a non military domestic and foreign policy doesn't mean they are weak.

If a shove turns to push, that's when you will know the true strength of the Germans
not the Germany of today bro.. stop living in a dream paradise ... the Russia is the most militarized zone in Europe , have you ever seen any where the German military is being compared to that of the US ... it’s not match . It’s only the Russian Military that is being compared to that of the Americans

after the WW2, Germany was made to adopt a non military domestic and foreign policy. So their technology was geared towards peacetime development. However, don't take it away from them, their technology is far ahead of the rest of Europe. If they feel threatened, they can easily convert to wartime production.
