Except for South Africa, Egypt and Morocco, most African countries would not play any active military action in the war and while nukes are being distributed in Santa rockets and Satans fly the skies, African countries would not 'collect'.

But after the fireworks, what happens next?

Instant poverty
For money, one thing is for sure. Having a domiciliary account domiciled in a currency that has no country it is attached to means that account is as good as paper. Meaning, a huge number of rich people could be paupers overnight.

Francophone countries might not be so better off
At the very least, Francophone countries might have full control of their own resources for once but the dictatorship tendencies of African leaders might make those short lived gains a curse if care is not taken.

Everyone with a weapon will want to be king
Countries might split more with civil wars and leftover military bases might decide to colonize the continent but that will be resisted with time but at a cost of lives on all sides.

With all super big boys and major peacekeeping nations out of the way, it will be a time for border nations and communities to revive old grievances and new warlords arising to fight over land and resources. These ones will have no regard for any government or authority. Total chaos.

...and then hunger will make people mad
With a raging nuclear holocaust and lesser import sources to substitute food needs, there will be famine and more survival based crimes and disease outbreak.

Africa might then not be the haven everyone might be able to run to. So Adamu Garba, that WW3 is not something we should hope for.

Better we all work towards the end of this war between brothers before someone else takes offence on another's behalf and volatile toes get stepped on.

Most African countries are still under colonization but they don't know or they don't want to know. France can't go to war without dragging francophone countries with her.
The same with UK and Nigeria.
That's why it's called world war cos you must choose a side.
Most problems of Africa is not the white, it's still our own African blood. We are deadly corupted in africa.
Just pray not to experience war cos it affects every damn person alive. No exceptions.

Africa will be booming economically as the western world burns.

When they've finally finished off themselves by nuclear war, returning to the stone age, the survivors would be trapped there, and a few lucky ones might find a plane to a booming African continent where they will be subjected to tough screening as refugees and asylum seekers.

As it was written, ''the meek shall inherit the Earth.''

An insightful and sombre post.

Even a small-scale nuclear war will cause global devastation from nuclear winter and
Africa [even though may NOT be hit directly by nukes], would be affected by radiation over
the following weeks with very low global temperatures.

Read up more on: "Nuclear Winter" by the hugely popular Carl Sagan who hosted "Cosmos" back in the
day. I never missed episodes of that program back in the 1980s for the deep insights about the mysteries
of our world and other planetery dimensions.

Cheers.

Between then and now, seems those Francophone countries have borrowed themselves brain.
