Yes you are right like a typical Yoruba man looking at things from his tribal lenses. What exactly did Tinubu achieve as a governor that stands him out? (Pls don't tell me anointing of governors). Especially when you consider how rich the state is. He can't even measure up with Fashola in terms of credibility and competence. Politicking and leadership are two different things. If you are talking about politics, Tinubu is currently one of the best in the country and we all expected him to remain the kingmaker in South West. I do not see any panic here.

It is a statement of fact that any consensus arrangement for presidential primaries will fail. Even if the consensus was to present Tinubu as the preferred candidate. It will fail. Part of the reasons Buhari won in 2015, was because of a free and fair presidential primary in 2015. Electorates saw this as a sharp contrast to the way PDP conducted their primaries.
