Literally, my laptop does not freeze at home. Last year in the dorm it froze on average once a week. I have been here 6 days this semester and it has frozen 15 times. Once it froze 3 times within 15 minutes. The freezes affect the entire laptop, not just internet - I can't move the mouse and have to manually shut down. Scans find nothing. I have Roadrunner both at home and here. It does not always freeze on the same site. Can a location mess up your computer |

The cpu fan is not working properly,perhaps your dorm is not well ventilated.You can buy the laptop fan stand to take care of that. |
