Gone are the days of conventional warfare when two traditional armies will face themselves in open battle. The era of conducting wars like WW1 and WW2 is well and truly over.

The war in Ukraine is the litmus test that shows assymetrical warfare is the best way for a smaller nation to effectively fight a larger country.

For instance, Russian tanks that cost millions of dollars were no match for javelin missiles that cost thousands of dollars.

The Russian S400 Missile System that cost $300million was basically a pile of junk because Ukraine was using $6000 drones to blow up their fuel supplies.

This war truly exposed Russian incompetence. They may be good at defending their territory, but they're clueless at taking over others.

Putin is best adviced to eat the humble pie and call it a day.

The moment the west started donating high tech defensive weapons en Masse to Ukraine, what did you expect? That said,

On March 25, the Russian Defense Ministry reported that during the month of the special operation in Ukraine, 1,351 Russian servicemen were killed and 3,825 were injured.

Sure losing more than 2k troops is a tragedy for Russia. But it is what happens in a conventional warfare between two countries. When Germany attacked Poland with 2 million troops in WW2, despite their overwhelming superiority, they lost more than 59k troops within a month, and only managed to defeat Poland after 1 month and a half which even happened because the Soviet union attacked from the other side too nearly halfway into the invasion, overwhelming Poland in the process.
USA also in Vietnam faced their biggest humiliation when the Soviet union and China started donating high tech weapons to Vietnam to defend themselves with. After losing more than 60k troops, the almighty USA fled away from Vietnam with full speed with their tails in between their legs
BTW This war has just given everyone a glimpse of what actual modern warfare is. I'm having this feeling that the Era of tanks and infantry fighting vehicles (IFV) are over. The Era where tanks can overrun a stronghold is over, seeing as there are now TOW missiles that can take out a tank and its entire crew in just one hit unlike before that you use anti tank shells that would bounce off in the face of heavy armors.
All in all, Russia will NOT end up like USA in Vietnam. They will take over the entire eastern Ukraine and cut off zelensky from the black sea. Ukraine will become landlocked. The sooner the USA realizes this, stop sending weapons to Ukraine and push for diplomacy, the better. lord Putin might actually forgive them

I'm seeing reports that elements of the Ukrainian army, mostly made up of Azov battalion defending mariupol have almost completely been annihilated. It is said that Russian troops along with DPR/LPR fighters are carefully cleaning mariupol, leaving no block or house unchecked as they do not want to let any Nazi Azov element leave mariupol without being in a body bag. All attempts to evacuate azov commanders tooo by air have been thwarted by Russian troops
If zelensky knows what is good for him, he should surrender now before it becomes too late.

Children take this teaching to adulthood even when the thinking ability to reason is fully developed. Grown up children are quick to obey authorities even in times when doing so is immoral. While that of children is understandable as. Incompetency to distinguish between what good from what is bad, adult who commit the same act are out of cowardice . They do not want to be held liable to the consequence of their action so would rather hand the decision-making to an external agent .


For example, an armed robber who threatens one to give away a percentage of his money or risk getting killed is not a perceived as an authority by The victim . The government through its law enforcement agents like Police may threaten you to give wm a percentage of your money or risk going to jail. The clergy threaten one to give away with a certain percentage of his money or risk external damnation. The armed robber is not an authority and the victim will not feel guilty for resisting him but to resist the clergy or the police would be seen as illegal or immoral. The police and the preacher are seeing as agents of authority who act on behalf of government and God respectively whereas. In that case, it is the individual perception of authority that matters.


Sometimes this blind allegiance to authority distort our ability to differentiate what is good from what is bad. It is wrong to kill your fellow man. But when the perceived authority asks one to do so, he is expected to comply. The effect of this can be disastrous. When an “bad” person gets to the seat of power and gives a bad directive, good people tuned down their moral conscience and obey. Adolph Hitler on his own can kill a handful of persons at a time but Adolph Hitler as the commander General of the arm forces can kill a million persons. In other words,. Adolph Hitler is not the problem but the good-hearted soldiers who would never hurt a fly but kill their fellow human without guilt on the order of authority. Religion is not the problem but the good-hearted persons who will not hesitate to butcher their fellow human on the command if the religious books and leaders whom they perceive as agents of supreme Authority.


The authority understands that to continue to have control over their subjects, they have to instill the doctrine of blind obedience. Law enforcement agencies do not encourage their staff to question their superior decision. To disobey a superior immoral order could amount to severe consequence. My heart goes to the dead soldiers who risk their lives believing they are fighting for a just cause whereas they were used as Pawns fighting for the politician who would not do the same for them. Religion encourages members not to ask question. Blind obedience which is nicknamed ” Faith” is emphasized as a sign of a true believer. Whoever question the holy book is a doubter, heretic and should be stoned to death. Health authorities and Scientist tells us vaccine they approved are effective and we must believe them and take them against our will. Whoever posts information doubting the safety of the vaccine is accused of posting false information and the website banned. Meanwhile, scientist are accused of inventing the same virus in a laboratory. Yet we are to believe and obey them . Can one preside over a case where he is a suspect? Medical autonomy is thrown to the wind. Individuals no longer have the right to choose their medication. Soon, authority will choose our food for us. Authority comes in various shades


The aim of this article is not eradicate authority completely. Like Dr Milgram said, obedience to authority may be necessary in certain context . No Individual is inherently good or bad . Individuals can apply golden rule when making decisions

No ! You're actually afraid of it. You lost roughly 26 million lives in WW2. But for the strange dynamic and dialectic of the atom ,exploded by the US on Hiroshima and Nagasaki, which swung the war against the Nazis ,you Russians might have been a conquered people.
