Russians did not only grab lands of neighbouring tribes, they also russified them. Most of these tribes have lost their identities others are still existing as republics and autonomous regions. If Russia gjves these ones independence and they become sovereign nations, Russis would be more smaller in size.
Based on geopolitics , ethnicities and religion, the following independent states may emerge from Russia -
East Karelia (formerly Russian Karelia)
Ingria (formerly Leningrad Oblast)
East Prussia (formerly Kaliningrad Oblast) - unless ceded to Poland or Lithuania
