Mothering Sunday: Ofumelu Felicitates With Catholic Women.

- Describes Them As The Foundation Of The Society.

To mark the year’s Mothering Sunday celebration of the Catholic Mothers and faithfuls, the member Representing Oyi and Ayamelum Federal Constituency, Barr. Vincent Ekene Ofumelu, MHR (Onye Njeozi Oyi na Ayamelum) has felicitated with the women of his constituency, and entire Catholic faithfuls.

In the message signed and released by the Ofumelu Media Watch, the lawmaker extolled our women and mothers whom he described as the foundation on which the society rest upon.

In his words, “There’s No role that’s essential as the role of motherhood, they are the heartbeat of every home and the glue that holds our family together; Their role in the society cannot be overemphasized nor can be limited.”

Ofumelu urged mothers to continue in their charitable works of mercy in the society, upholding strong morals for our young children and youths. He maintained that a mother’s influence is necessary for the a better life for their children and the society. In a society riddled with many vices and deviant young kids, the lawmaker tasked mothers to always stand their ground and influence kids aright and keep their home glued in love and uprightness.

Hon. Barr. Vincent Ofumelu who is a the Deputy Chairman House Committee on Humanitarian Affairs and Disaster management reiterated his support for women inclusiveness in mainstream politics, he assured that his time at the National Assembly will continue to advocate for women and mothers in the society amongst many others.

He further congratulated all Catholic Women and faithfuls and prayed for the success and joy of motherhood upon the women and mothers across Oyi and Ayamelum Federal Constituency.
