Better than the useless senators representing Bayelsa state

This is very insultive; callous and incautious to the sensibility of the people in that constituency. First of; everything in that room is all shade of deception, they are not of permanent nature, they are not planned to stand the test of time nor to impact any form of knowledge. It's more of a temporary show gallery. Just take a look at the way and manner those Ipads were casually displayed, it's obvious they are going to be hurriedly covered back and taken away. Secondly; this culture of leaving dirty white nylon covering on gadgets meant for the public is sickening. Its a false presentation meant to deceive and mislead the people. Truth is, for some one with a clear sincerity of purpose there are alot of high performance fairly used computers all over (I am just assuming if there is cash crunch like they always want us to believe) ; get good number of them and solidly set up an efficient and meaningful centres across the constituency. Not just having useless structure like this in two or three places; there should be at least 30 of such centres. If one hasn't step out of Nigeria he or she will not clearly see the outrageous evil and harm these criminals called public servants are doing to the people.

I hope it will be maintained properly.

Are you not foolish for writing something like this about someone I am sure you don't know a single thing about. This senator is among the very best in the National Assembly. She is one of the very few politicians in Nigeria that is not corrupt.

The problem is that our youths want free money, doleouts instead of real development. How can you stone a senator who has just commissioned an ICT Center in her constituency. How many senators have ever commissioned tangible projects for those that voted then into power.

This is the problem of democracy. Idiots and Nobel Prize winners in medicine all have one vote at the ballot box.

Can any third world democratic country ever develop and become a first world country while practicing full-fledged democracy?? I am just thinking aloud.

What truly happened!!!

1. She is not campaigning for second term
2. Governor Lalong is replacing her at the Senate.
3. The attack happened after she inaugurated the ICT center.
4. She wasn’t attacked for underperformance but because about four people in the community were kidnapped shortly before her visit.
5. Community youths decided to hold her captive to facilitate the release of their kin.
6. Security decided to rescue her and it got dirty.

SUMMARY:

For someone who has no intention of returning to the senate, she has performed more than her contemporaries.
