Fayemi's Declaration; What Next For TINUBU by Prof9292: 6:28pm On May 04, 2022
The road to Aso rock has become smaller and thinner for the man referred to as the Asiwaju of Lagos, Jagaban of Africa having seen many of his Political Sons and beneficiaries of his benevolence declare for Presidency and contest in the same election against him.

There are fears the camp of Tinubu over the declaration of so many persons in the south leaving the ambition of the erstwhile kingmaker in Jeopardy and in the hands of the northerners. With the entrance of the chairman of the NGF Fayemi into the race, his base within the south west where he expects to get bulk of his votes from if he is to win the Primary election has been more than halved as it's believed Ekiti and Ondo states will go to Fayemi. With Ogun already lost, and Oyo no man's land, it's becoming increasingly scary for the man who played a major role in the emergence of the current federal govt.

With reports Adams Oshiomole another one of his beneficiary set to declare, Akpabio declaring, It's almost a lost case with inside sources mounting pressure on TINUBU to withdraw from the race to avoid being disgraced at the polls.

As it stands, in the 17 states in the south, political expertises believe Tinubu would take Osun and Lagos, Fayemi would take Ekiti and Ondo, Osinbanjo would take Ogun, Oyo would be split with no major stakeholder claiming all shares, Edo would go with Oshiomole except he doesn't contest and they'll still go with whoever he goes with. He would get little or nothing from the east even in Imo where Gov Uzodinma goes with BUHARI. In the south south, perhaps Delta state could give him bulls of votes.

With the major opposition party considering picking it's candidate from the north, all is now set for the north to also decide the APC presidential candidate. Everyone is looking at how things would unfold in the coming days. If the Lion of Bourdillion would withdraw or step on Fire . The stage is set
