I thought i am the only person that notice that. Each time i went to buy sth, i will be given two 50 naira notes as my balance instead of one 100 naira note.

I cant provide an answer to that.

This moderators self, sometimes they put up craps on the front page either written by them or their girl or boy friends.
N100 note is not scarce, at least in my area ( Garki-Abuja).

ATM machines dispense N1000 and N500 notes. A lot of us withdraw from ATMs that is why those denominations are more prominent.  

The other day I went to a banking floor to withdraw cash, I was giving a huge quantity of N100 notes, i was begging them to reduce it, but they refused.

Its true anyway N100 note is getting extremely scare, There is more of N1000 note in circulation. Or maybe its just my wallet

well its one of those currencies you that is next to N50 denomination, i strongly believe that those polymer currencies are not welcome by the citizenry because of its shortfalls, so people tend to spend more of N100 denominated currency, thereby making it scarce in circulation

Its amazing how bitter some people are towards the "front paging" of my post. Its as if i won 10000 dollars for it. No wonder some newly successful men in nigeria just die once they start the foundation of thier new building. This "Pull-Him-Down" syndrome can never stop. The one hundred naira observation is no doubt true, no one here has refuted it. But if u dont like it on frontpage, come on, there are other interesting posts to read and post on ok. Thanks

last month i went to uba and they where giving out mint (new) #100 cause they were short of larger notes someone withdraw 60,000 and got her #100 notes. But people tend to store up new notes
