*To get a referendum through a political means (Act of Legislation through National Assembly)

*To get full autonomous country and governance of their own region

*To get full resource control of local resources and to boycott resources of other region


Actions of IPOB directly and indirectly against seccession

*Boycott of election there by depriving Igbos political power like Senate President, Speaker or Deputy speaker to be able to table referendum agenda in the National Assembly

*Deliberate attacks of Local and foriegn Investors and making investors go to Delta State, Rivers State and Lagos State, reducing SouthEast IGR and Increasing SouthSouth and SouthWest IGR there by making Igbos dependant on federal allocation
