When Reno started insulting Igbos few weeks ago I knew sumtin was about to happen, if gej joins APC, he is the most foolish man on earth, apcre only desperate for power and nothing more
SensualMan: Even after PeePoo donated 50 million to the Fooolani's, the Fooolani's collected Lagos money, added another 50 million to it to buy Presidential form for Goodluck Ebele(Omo Ibo)
These Fooolani's will so deal with one lagos man like that
What ASUU wants is about(at least) 3 trillion naira over 2 years in extra funding for universities as per the 2009 ASUU/FG agreement (only 200 billion has been paid).
They also want a host of other things, including removing university staff from IPPIS.
The fact is, even if APC decides to give Nigerian universities all that money they earned from selling forms (which by my estimate would reach 10 billion naira eventually), it would finish within a month. Universities in Nigeria need far far more than what APC is earning from forms.
Thank you for educating that dude and others that liked his comment.
Lordknow: Am pleading for your help please Please dear everyone, I beg you in the name of God please forgive me for posting this but I have no choice because the mods ban my old username. Please sirs and ma's, my name is Faith, am a 26 years old single mom of 1. My son is just 2 years old. I used to be a hairdresser before my present predicament. In August of 2021 I fell very sick and was rush to the hospital by my neighbour. Doctor said that I will have to be admitted because by the time that they have prescribed several drugs for me, my hands and both of my legs has developed rashes and started to swell up. The swelling got worst and more severe as time went by, eventually leading to multiple skin ulcers. Preliminary results shows that I was diagnosed with blood infection. Am currently living with severe skin ulcers in my left arm, the palm of my hand, and both of my legs and feet. I've been suffering with this condition since then. Am crying out because I need serious medical attention, I cannot afford to go to the hospital and am dying here due to lack of money. I regularly require resuscitation with anti biotics and regular blood transfusion at St David's Specialist hospital. I also urgently require Prolonged Sore Management with Vacuum Assisted Closure Device and skin graft to help regain my normal life again but unfortunately I can't treat myself because I don't have enough on me. Doctor said the procedure will require 1.3million Naira to give me my life back and so far I've been able to raise only 300 thousand with the help of my friends and some kind hearted well wishers who have taken pity for me in the past few months. Pleas sirs and ma's, am an orphan both my parents are late. I have been trying every possible best to raise the remainder to no avail. I don't have any property to sell again and I cannot work in this my condition pls I beg of you, I can't even look after my 2 years old son, that's why am pleading with any well meaning person pls, no matter how small pls, it will still go a long way to help me and save my life and that of my little boy pls. May God bless you all in Jesus name Amen
The Mods banned your previous moniker, and you think they won't again?? I am not against you or anyone soliciting for financial help if you have a genuine case that needs help from members of the public. But I think this your request have been coming on Nairaland for over a year if not more. And it can go on for years to come if the money is flowing in. Will you tell members you have made enough to do the medicals? Lot of people are using spurious cases to seek undue sympathy and defraud the public. The Mods are doing the right thing by blocking anyone that is seeming like is taking advantage of the generousity of the public. And besides, I think your soliciting for this help is becoming annoying as you make these requests almost on every thread without adding any value. The Mods can't allow you to be derailing threads with your appeals.
My apologies if you don't like my opinion. But it is the truth.

It has come to our notice that a group has purportedly purchased Presidential Nomination and Expression of Interest forms, of the All Progressives Congress APC, in the name of former President Dr. Goodluck Ebele Jonathan. We wish to categorically state that Dr. Jonathan was not aware of this bid and did not authorize it. We want to state that if the former President wanted to contest an election, he would make his intentions clear to the public and will not enter through the back door. While we appreciate the overwhelming request by a cross-section of Nigerians, for Dr. Jonathan to make himself available for the 2023 Presidential election, we wish to state, that he has not in anyway, committed himself to this request. Buying a presidential aspiration form in the name Dr. Jonathan without his consent, knowing the position he had held in this country, is considered an insult to his person. The general public is therefore advised to disregard it.

this is very disappointing. So you cannot research how much ASUU is demanding? You think N2billion you quoted up there is what would make our universities across the whole nigeria better?
Thank you for educating that dude and others that liked his comment.
Thanks, but even then, APC needs to do something about the issues ASUU raised. They are serious and pertinent issues which they were voted in to address. And also, questions too need to be asked about where some of those people got that money.....
But like I said, even if APC authorized that the money goes to university funding it won't do much.(Splitting up the money among 80 government universities gives each of them N125 million....which may be good enough to pay off overheads for some of the bigger universities for a year, but for things like expansion, new facilities, etc...even ten times that money may not be enough.)
