Bashir Ahmad Removes Presidential Aide From Twitter Account After Buhari Ordered Cabinet Members Seeking Elective Posts To Resign

Personal Assistant to President Muhammadu Buhari on Digital and New Media, Bashir Ahmad may have resigned his appointment following his principal’s directive that members of the Federal Executive Council (FEC) seeking to vie for any elective position must resign.

A check on his Twitter account on Wednesday afternoon showed that Ahmad had removed “Personal Assistant on New Media to @MBuhari, the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria” from his profile.

He now claims to be ‘Digital Communication enthusiast’.

Ahmad is seeking to represent Gaya, Ajingi and Albasu federal constituency of Kano State in the House of Representatives on the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC).

He is to challenge the incumbent occupier of the seat, Mahmoud Abdullahi Gaya, who is also of the ruling APC.

Buhari earlier in the day directed that all members of the Federal Executive Council (FEC) running for elective offices should submit their letters of resignation on or before Monday the 16th of May, 2022.

Among those affected are Ministers of Transportation, Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi; Labour and Productivity, Chris Nigige; Niger Delta Affairs, Godswill Akpabio; Science and Technology, Ogbonnaya Onu and State for Petroleum Resources, Timipre Sylva, who have all joined the presidential race on the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC).

Others are Attorney General of the Federation, Mallam Abubakar Malami, who has declared interest in the governorship position in his home state of Kebbi.

Running for the governorship position in Abia State is the Minister of State Mines and Steel, Uche Ogar while the Minister of Women Affairs, Pauline Tallen has also declared her interest to contest for the senatorial seat in Plateau State.

Minister of Communications and Digital Economy, Isa Pantami, is also rumoured to be interested in running for governor of Gombe State.

His counterpart in the Youth and Sports Development, Sunday Dare, has also purchased the N50 million APC nomination forms to succeed Oyo State Governor, Seyi Makinde of the Peoples Democratic Party in the 2023 governorship poll.

Though not a cabinet member, SaharaReporters gathered that Godwin Emefiele, governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) may also be affected by the presidential order.

All holding bullion vans and government properties should also resign from the race. There is no need to take pee stains to Aso rock. If you notice recently people are always standing behind Tinubu to cover up his leaking bladder. The man suffers from incontinence. It is a disease associated with his age and with druggies.

How can a man who spent the last 3 years in hospital beds in a foreign country suddenly step forward to rule a country? Tinubu should go and rule the patients in his ward in that London hospital.

The way the man stared at the VP in their last meeting shows a baby in a grandpa. Somethings are left behind with age. Staring down a man to intimidate him shows pride which is a quality that resonates with dictators.

Tinubu says that he has an ambition to become the president. That is a selfish and egocentric desire. A real president should have the ambition of the people at heart. A sincere candidate is one who enters the race not for his selfish ambition but one who has been touched by the pains and sufferings of the people. A true candidate is someone who focuses his agenda on facts.

At this point, aside from peeing all over chairs and coughing into innocent microphones and in the faces of his audience, he has no concrete plan regarding what to do with the presidency. There is no reasonable content in his agenda. I will... I will... How will he do it? Ask him to his face and let him explain without coughing or being caged by his entourage and he will end up peeing on your feet.

A man who sleeps in bullion vans for decades, yet cannot think that he need a simple toothbrush of less than 400 naira to brush his teeth, can never solve your problems. I have never seen or heard of a Nigerian politician whose teeth was used as a specimen during election before Tinubu showed up. I mean, no dentist in Bourdillion? Asiwaju of no dentist?

*I am writing this with pain because of the plight of innocent Nigerians. People are dying and lives are being destroyed. All some people care about is just for their own gains.*

They sold Buhari and painted him with so much colors than can be found in the rainbow, yet the situation gets worse. Kenya, Gambia, Benin, Ghana are rated higher than Nigeria. Shocking to see how other countries are developing leaving us behind because of this identity politics.

we cannot have another sick patient in Aso rock. Nigeria will surely bleed. No more hospital beds. no more walking sticks. no more pee and no more shiet.

We can't be fooled

1. They told them to loot their ministry purse and donate 100 million each.

2. They bought forms even though they have no electoral value, some of them cannot win their local government.

3. The were asked to resign

4. They will resign

5. They will step down from the raised and support a concensus candidate.

6. It was the plan from the beginning.

7. They have raised 19 billion from forms so far.

8. 19 billion is enough to buy votes.

9. They have successfully con the gullible to think they never stole from the treasury to fund their election.

10. But they actually stole.

11. Nigerians are the losers at last.

12. Wake up Nigerians.

My major focus is on ngige and emefiele.

Ngige and emefiele dey within their right to stay for their office. According to the Appeal court ruling today, that section dey Unconstitutional. That be the law now until pesin carry de case go Supreme Court. But if dem wan resign based on gentleman nature and respect for the office of the president. Then na welcome development. But according to the law, dem get the right to hold ground and even carry the president to court, if need arise
