SULIEMAN3: Aluminium paints are not easily prone to rusting with a little addition of kerosine(from being less viscous). Keep the brush you will use from being dusty, as that will make the surface of your dish smooth after painting and dry.

you are likely to skip some satellites especially if your dish...is not pointing at the correct angles (i.e) for the entire geostationary satellite arc, when using motor...most Europe Ku band satellites are not on the same satellite arc with Asia/Africa ku/C-band satellites!

@Bowofola213, in addition to Odilibe.
They(C and KU band) all depend on the dish size sha. The more the size, the more the coverage is covered.

Hi peeps,I'm a newbie in the satellite stuff .I've asked so many questions with very few answers received.

My dish is currently set to Amos2,3 4W but i want to change to Amos 5.After inputting the tp and other stuffs,do i still have to tilt the dish direction outside?

And can i use my current position to watch other satellites in the list once i get their frequencies?

I receive fortis tv, rts,rdv,racine tv,lmn tv ...and most of them are french speaking ones.There is a total of 62 channels on it and very few english stations.


But i'd love to have one with more sports channels as well as religious ones

Decoder is strong 4663X and the dish pan is smaller than the normal dstv one

With ur current position u can watch football on tv madagasca, Oromiya, stv2.ortb & rdv(only on epl match day). But if u want to enjoy it better get urself mpeg 4/HD And a bigger dish of at least 1.2m. Mind u, all these with respect to the opinion of my Ogas @ d top. Regards
