people have warned dat whenever there is thunder storm or lightening. u should dis connect ur wire dat comes from d lnb to ur decoder.u guy u very lucky dat it did not affect ur tv

there suppose to be a technology device to prevent this. Can't thunder arrestor use for ISP dish work for satellite tv dish?

Still can't nail irib but i suspect the lnb is bad thou i bought it new.

after d logo comes on press d standby button on decoder for it to go on standby before d lines come on. if it goes on standby, press d standby button again to quit standby, if it comes on. power it off with ur remote. close it off at d back. put it on at d back and power it on with d remote. this also happened to me and dat was how I solved it. hope it helps.

hello ify4ing: dis tin do my 4950H afta I don upgrade d firmware (successfully). I nially run loko. c Wetin wey u go do:
1. put on d decoda.
2. arts d logo come on no allow lines to show, press standby button on d decoda.
3. if d tin go on standby, press d standby button again. d decoder go come on normally.
4. use remote to put am on standby.
5. put am off from behind.
6. boot am on from behind.
7. press standby button on remote to putam on.
na all dat. if e no work. hmm e mean say tori Don badje.

it can also work.just do wat i ask d oda guy.but this time.u will press menu.then go to installation.stroll down to disec select and choose 1.1.thats all.then u allocat the dish port to each dish as it is in the discec.soery d post is for d guy dat asked if 4922 can accept up to 16 lnbs or dishes.so govahead with ur 8 in 1
