I'm not going to register under this extremist government. The people that killed Deborah might grow up to be someone like pantami if justice is been denied . She's Deborah.. what? Why are people not spelling her full name Modified: Aboki should be counting their star since she's from the north. If not deamalgamation of Nigeria commence infact it's still imminent 31 Likes 6 Shares |

“It is criminal and fraudulent to pre-register a SIM card in Nigeria and it is an offence punishable under the law.In the sane countries we want our country to be like, this is one of the ways they got to that great height. USA couldn't have been a great country today without what they call their social security number, which each and every citizen must have. If you commit any fraud or crime, or scam anyone, all your life is connected in one place. Only in Nigeria that a man will commit a crime in Ibadan and run to Sokoto, and that will be the end of the case for years.....prolly forever! The below is for SANE Nigerians and Nairalanders only, Bad Energy Stay Far away if you don't wanna be Unfo.......... Your National Identification Number (NIN) is used to tie together all records about you – demographic data, fingerprints, head-to-shoulder facial picture, other biometric data and digital signature – in the National Identity Database making it relatively easy to confirm and verify your identity when you engage in travels and transactions. This vital feature of the NIN makes it pivotal for all citizens (home and abroad) as well as legal residents of Nigeria to endeavour to obtain their unique NINs as soon as they can. Be sure you provide the right information about yourself while your data is captured during enrolment for your NIN, that will be the information legally identifying you for life whenever your NIN is used. One can see how important the NIN is to an individual: it is used for retrieving your captured information from the National Identity Databaseyour matching information associated with your NIN can be then used to verify that you are really who you say you are. To the society as a whole, the NINs issued, help provide accurate records about actual living/dead persons in every region of the countryhelp keep track of actual transactions as well as movement of people within and out of the countryhelp confirm which individuals are in actual need of particular Government services, e.g. age and retirement confirmation for pensioners. When it comes to access to vital services (like passport issuance, banking services, land transactions, insurance services, pension, health insurance, payment of taxes, voter’s registration, consumer credits, and all Government services), your NIN becomes necessary for: cutting down the time needed for verifying documents to properly identify you in order to access the services you requirereducing errors in allocation of services to the right peopleprevention of fraud (419) where someone else impersonates youverification of the real identity of other people you go into financial or business transactions with or even people you wish to employ such as house helpensuring you are properly identified when receiving health services, e.g. verifying the actual blood types of blood donors at hospitalsverification of voter eligibility during elections. Slow and Steady, Nigeria will be great again in our lifetime. God bless Nigeria. Read more below........ 17 Likes 5 Shares |

More on NIN that Sane, good, honest and hardworking Nigerians should know..... Nigerians home and abroad , kindly take note! Imagine you walk into an Immigration office to apply for an international passport. You are asked for information verifying your identity and you just give them a number and instantly the Immigration officials connect to the National Identity Database – all your required information appears on their computer screen. They can only see information they are authorised to see. Done, your identity is verified – no need to go get extra documents, spend more money, just to prove who you are. That is the convenience provided by your NIN. This is synonymous with Social Security Number (SSN), if you don't have that in some countries abroad, you will just be living like a corpse, without being able to do anything in life, a corpse will even be better than your as$! It’s the same thing when you go to process a driver’s licence, you would only need to present your NIN and your identity would be verified. This is how it is done in saner climes we all want to emulate. We will surely get there someday soon.. aribisala0:But we have said it over and over again on this forum, that our posts here is only for sane minds. We know you wailers and kids can never assimilate our posts due to the constant hatred you have for your country (the country you call a zoo). An advice to you, next time, scroll over our post to the next post cos it is too deep for your brain. That will be better for you rather than to develop migraine for nothing. Please kindly take to this advice from the elders for your own good. Nigeria will be great again whether you and your ilks like it or not. Peace out! 10 Likes 5 Shares |

But why must Nigerians be forced before they do the right thing? Some people will be running their mouth that they will never register but when they get abroad, they will quickly register to avoid deportation. 7 Likes |

So Nigeria has only 80million people using telephone? Which means number of people wey Dey over 18 fit no pass 100million Let us Have this in mind as we head to the polls in the coming months Not after election we will see 200,000,000 votes cast meanwhile only 100,000,000 Nigerians have NIN The numbers should near each other small because I know not everyone with NIN will vote and not everyone that will vote has NIN but these set of people who have one and lack the other should offset each other there number should not No too far apart |

80.7m + including people with NIN. Elections in Nigeria should be electronic. There's a way to streamline it to 1man 1 vote. 2 Likes |

post=112779488: This guy has serious problems, he will quote months old comments and start a phantom argument with himself. Mods should be blamed for allowing this account and other propaganda accounts to infest the front page of nairaland. Concerning this NIN nonsense I really want the supporters to tell us what we have gained so far. Not one single kidnapper or terrorist has been caught, attacks are happening every day, telcos want to increase the cost of their services. 12 Likes |

What actually deterred many Nigerians from registering is the racketeering going on around the registration centres. Right now, you pay close to 5000 naira to get it done in Delta State 3 Likes |
