Savagery and jungle justice at its peak, the behaviours were repugnant
No matter the crime the young man committed, he should not have been subjected to this barbaric and desensitized onslaught
Instead of people taking the law into their own hands, the young man as with the next person, had a right to life
That young man had every right to live except determined otherwise by a court of law
This should be an indictment charging Lagos state with murder and holding it responsible for not protecting the young man from the lynch mob
