Awolowo, speaking on behalf of the Yorubas and Western minorities, described Nigeria as a mere geographical expression not qualified to be called a country let alone a nation. Awolowo added that if the amalgamation

OP, you and the author of this sh.i.t should go back to History class. This was the era when MERIT was used in making appointments. The North couldnt compete when merit was used hence the North cried for QUOTA system and Federal character system in appointments in Nigeria.
