Russian forces have damaged five high-rise buildings and shopping areas in Severodonetsk as fighting in the eastern region continues. Luhansk governor, Serhiy Haidai, said in a message on Telegram that an elderly man had also been injured and taken to hospital. For context: The battle for Severodonetsk is becoming a focal point in the war. It is one of the few major cities in the eastern Luhansk region that is still controlled by Kyiv.
