They are basically the bus drivers of the sky. A tight flight schedule rules their lives.

Unlike what many people might think, flying for them has nothing to do with “enjoying the endless skies” but it means getting from A to B, not only in time but also as fuel-efficient as possible.

The more fuel they save, the more profit for their airlines.

Their job isn't really glamorous (maybe it was sixty years ago) and it also isn't that well paid anymore. Many pilots in the US struggle financially.

Airline pilots also don't get laid that often anymore. First of all, due to their extremely tight schedules, they’ll arrive at their destination stressed out and exhausted.

Instead of having a Daiquiri with a hot-looking bikini girl at a beach bar in Rio de Janeiro, they’ll prefer to sleep in their moderately priced hotel room (one room for two). If they score, then it's probably only with someone from their crew.

Unfortunately, however, flight attendants aren't that keen on having fun either. Their job has also become extremely hard and stressful.

I totally disagree with the op. Pilot is a rare profession that any body can't just jump into considering the qualifications, fitness, training, cost etc that you need go through. How many people own a plane, how many people have seen an airport even? Many dont have this privilege. Pilot profession is for the rich and privilege, it is a noble profession.

Even male flight attendants are getting laid,let alone Pilots.....

They still get paid well, ordinarily,one can't just go into that profession without been from a rich background or been supported by the rich

It's true that one can never get enough, Airplane Pilot is a nobel profession which only few persons go into because of the cost of becoming one.

overrated doesn't mean something isn't good or prestigious. It just means that it isn't as good as majority of people think. For instance, c Ronaldo and Messi are the most overrated players in history. Does this mean I have said they are not good? No.
If you know a IndecentStar called Brandi love, she said her husband used to be a pilot. It was long hours, stress and little family or fun time. He had a heart attack and decided to quit the job. That was when she became a IndecentStar to help her family...that was how the family became rich and famous. Pilot job is not as glamorous after few years

Well I think the high risk involve removes the glamor of the job. It happens to some other jobs as well, but it all the depends on the individual.
