Here is a link to the recent data from JAMB and the tertiary institutions where Igbo dominate are very few and not even in the top 4 for universities or among top 8 for polytechnics or top 10 for colleges of education.
https://utmeofficial.com.ng/jamb/jamb-registration-statistics-2020-2021-by-course-universities-polytechnics-nce-and-state-of-origin/

This is a common thread for most data and this is a group we believe are the 3rd in population but always having very low numbers in most data collected across Nigeria.

It is no longer a coincidence when for every data collected, the Igbo have very low numbers. It is confirming that the actual population of Igbo is low and the numbers being bandied is inflated.

This is the second demographic/ developmental data I am reading today where the SE is having no representation in the top states because of their low population numbers which makes me to doubt the imagined official population of the SE. Official population of Igbo in SE is inflated and needs to be thoroughly and scientifically investigated.

All these data, land mass and satelite images are pointers that the SE population may have been inflated.

Igbo are actually far smaller in population than the anogue census data estimate.

These low numbers are not coincidental and are data obtained with better data capture tools unlike in the past.

Is this the reality the politicians know in the political turf that Igbo do not have a high population which made the leading parties not to take their flagbearers and running mates from the SE?

All data from SE, even international data on SE, are conflating into low population of Igbo.

The whole population of Igbo in the 5 Igbo SE states may not even be more populous than Oyo state or Kaduna or Katsina with dorminant monoethnic groups yet the SE has 5 states and LGAs more than each of those states! Should this not be investigated just to be sure that funds are actually reaching real citizens and not ghost citizens.

Is there another tribe now displacing Igbo as the 3rd most populous or the linguistic spread of Igbo language responsible for the masking of the reality of low Igbo population is now being eliminated with better data capture technology tools ?

Yet, Borno has the highest number of online voter registration. Nigeria, led by the Fulani Northern oligarchs, is a fraud.

You do realize that a good chunk of the subscribers in Lagos and Abuja are Igbos, right...? But you don't have to wonder, just read https://nigeria.opendataforafrica.org/ifpbxbd/state-population-2006 and it does tell you that the population of Igbo is quite small... (adding the numbers in 5 states is approx 17million people), keeping in mind there are probably 4 million or more outside the SE states. These are 2006 numbers, but the proportions should still stay about the same in 2022, until the latest census is formally verified.

Who told you it's yorubas? Or the people you are arguing with are yorubas?

You are arguing with paid robots.
And you should stop responding that way if truly you are an Igbo person. Or are you one of those paid to claim igbos just to add fire to the fake media hate?

If you will reply robots, don't attack any tribe. Attack the paid robots behind the camouflage usernames.

The real fact is that Igbos have been over estimating themselves and population all this while. The election results will shock them come 2023… they will tell you that they contribute to half of the population of any state in Nigeria.

That is what I thought as well but those in the markets use phone , make calls, build houses, send children to school, do voters registration, give birth , etc nah yet data from these parts of HDI are always very low for the whole SE.

These are data captured with better tools now. For weeks now there has been intense mobilization for voters registration in the SE and videos even shared online yet the whole new voters registeted for the whole 5 SE Igbo states is less than that of Osun state shocked
This is because voters registration now is better captured, we now have phone lines linked to NIN , there is now BVN etc yet the numbers are all still low for Igbos.
Are Igbos even up to 2 million in population? shocked

It has now become an insult! When this people are shouting marginalization, do you think it's just for fun! You analogy with vote registration is sensible but you should ask why? It is an insult to go to local government headquarters to register for voter's card only to spend that day in vain. One local government one voter's registration centre! Where in Nigeria has it ever happened? The media and INEC will say another thing. If they post the video on ground you will still not believe them!

Whenever there is a data that shows other tribes are leading, it is meaningless data. Only the data that shows igbos are leading is meaningful data. I salute you, truly you are igbo. Our tribalistic nature and extreme prejudice is inborn. We igbos are irredeemable tribalists. It feels like you will die if you celebrate another tribe's success. Only igbo success is worth celebrating. I know the drill. I'm igbo too and almost used to be like this. Thank God for exposure.

You are making a very wrong assumption here and that is that there are no Igbos using Internet in the top states. A pointer to the true Igbo population is enrolment for jamb and school cert where state of origin is used against state of residence used in the present analysis.
Because you people have made Igbos minorities politically, you now want to make them minorities demographically. There is God oh.
