Look at this fool. Before the end of the year, UGM will visit your family. They are already sharpening their knives for your parents.
That madness you support in Igboland will eventually wipe out your family.

This is the second demographic/ developmental data I am reading today where the SE is having no representation in the top states because of their low population numbers which makes me to doubt the imagined official population of the SE. Official population of Igbo in SE is inflated and needs to be thoroughly and scientifically investigated.

All these data, land mass and satelite images are pointers that the SE population may have been inflated.

Igbo are actually far smaller in population than the anogue census data estimate.

These low numbers are not coincidental and are data obtained with better data capture tools unlike in the past.

Is this the reality the politicians know in the political turf that Igbo do not have a high population which made the leading parties not to take their flagbearers and running mates from the SE?

All data from SE, even international data on SE, are conflating into low population of Igbo.

The whole population of Igbo in the 5 Igbo SE states may not even be more populous than Oyo state or Kaduna or Katsina with dorminant monoethnic groups yet the SE has 5 states and LGAs more than each of those states! Should this not be investigated just to be sure that funds are actually reaching real citizens and not ghost citizens.

Is there another tribe now displacing Igbo as the 3rd most populous or the linguistic spread of Igbo language responsible for the masking of the reality of low Igbo population is now being eliminated with better data capture technology tools ?

Here is a link to the recent data from JAMB and the tertiary institutions where Igbo dominate are few and not even in the top 4 for universities or among top 8 for polytechnics or top 10 for colleges of education.
https://utmeofficial.com.ng/jamb/jamb-registration-statistics-2020-2021-by-course-universities-polytechnics-nce-and-state-of-origin/

And here is another link showing same low numbers of Igbo. As a matter of fact, only Imo state appeared among the top 10 states at the 3rd position behind Oyo and Osun.
https://utmeofficial.org.ng/school-news/2021-utme-jamb-application-statistics-by-state-of-origin-released/
Here the whole SE is about the sum for only Osun, Oyo and Ogun.

Are the Igbo a minority group inflated to a majority group or a majority group now a minority?
the south east has the highest population density per square kilometer in the West African subregion, stop hypothesising and investigate

Since your mission today today is to prove that Igbos are less than 2million, why don't you ask the government to let people declare their tribes on the census forms, like the British did a long time ago.
It will save you from false science.

I support your idea but that is not the case with Igbo because we have Igbo states so I do not need to know your tribe if you are from Imo on census report but please direct your complaints to the necessary quarters. It is the inflated figures in past census that created this problem.

If Igbo are as much as I have always thought these low numbers in demographics won't be popping up all the time.
This is not like twitter or nairaland where a bot can have hundreds of accounts. These are data tied to real development.

If there are few folks in SE as the data are revealing so where are the funds going to? Who are those reaping from this? For how long has this been going on?
These data are now my creation and it is worth investigating. Before now, I have always had one reason to ignore these low numbers until I saw the pattern.

These development data are screaming that Igbo population has been inflated and the politicians know this.

To win an election in Nigeria, you do not need to focus on SE votes yet can not ignore SS states and I have seen it play out repeatedly since the advent of better data capturing tools. Even the primaries are the same and I suspect that even the Igbo politicians know this.
For how long has this been going on and who are those reaping from this inflated Igbo population?

But this comment alone, made me realize ye all can be as daft as anything.

May the hatred you have for the igbos not choke you to death.

Somehow I find it funny that you people don't realize, that after death, tribe and nationality would never matter to anyone.

You only consider CGPA more when u are still a student, but when you come out from there, u realize that CGPA has little or no value to your success.

Hating another tribe because you feel they hate you, can never give you the peace you desire in life.

Only love would matter after death!!!

Population density is not the same as population. Density Is the high concentration of people in a location or an area.

I mean Ibadan is not any of their city’s mate this isn’t coming from a place of empty braggadocio and whatnot,Ibadan is a well rounded city there’s hardly nothing that you’d find in any city in Nigeria that you won’t find in Ibadan asides maybe beaches and that’s logical cos Ibadan isn’t a coastal city or area but talk of every other thing you’d find it here..whether in abundance or small proportion or representation and Ibadan is very much economically viable too.

With facts,stats,videos...only Ibadan is more developed than the entire SE.

This is the thread....

Ibadan is also the 2nd fastest growing city in Africa in 2022.

That is what I thought as well but those in the markets use phone , make calls, build houses, send children to school, do voters registration, give birth , etc nah yet data from these parts of HDI are always very low for the whole SE.

These are data captured with better tools now. For weeks now there has been intense mobilization for voters registration in the SE and videos even shared online yet the whole new voters registeted for the whole 5 SE Igbo states is less than that of Osun state shocked
This is because voters registration now is better captured, we now have phone lines linked to NIN , there is now BVN etc yet the numbers are all still low for Igbos.
Are Igbos even up to 2 million in population? shocked

Am quite disappointed with this smelly shit of a forum called nairaland, I have never seen a social media forum that permits hate and disharmony like nairaland in my life, every topic of discussion always ends up in tribal war and yet the mods will turn blind eyes to them despite warnings against making tribal and racist comments at the moment no forum promotes hate in Nigeria like nairaland, if you want to understand how disunited Nigeria is come to nairaland and learn it, I don't care if the mods sanction me or not but mine is that if nairaland does not have a mission to promote hate in a country with frajile unity like Nigeria then it is time to do better. I've always said this you're posting out with empirical numerically facts that the Igbos ARE NOT a majority tribe in Nigeria, but a majority minority. The Tivis are the third largest ethnic group in Nigeria. But they are balkanised into about five states in the North. So, they can't speak with one voice. It's an unpardonable fraud to refer to the Igbos as a majority tribe on the one hand, and the third largest tribe in Nigeria ontheotherhand. . Now various demographic statistics are confirming this.
