Says who? Was there any season Mane outperformed Salah? In terms of goals and especially assists? Last season alone salah had 13 assists, how many did mane contribute? The stats are there...check them put...

Well, player's contracts are usually negotiated between the player, his agent, and club management. Coaches have nothing to do with it (and in some instances, coaches are often the last to know if a player they wanted to keep has been sold...eg Leeds some two decades ago )

So, unless Klopp was Salah's agent, or was acting on his behalf, he was not responsible for the increase.

Zidane is Arab, and Arabs face raicisim and discrimination in France.

As an example, if you have an arab name, or come from an arab majority area, it can be difficult to get a job (No matter how assimilated or secular you are...Arab..no).

Even when Zidane was playing, if he messed up, some of the abuse he got from french fans could be downright racist.

And this was before 9/11, Osama or any of the attacks on the WTC. This is an issue that has been going on for decades.

(Fun fact, one French guy of moroccan descent...the guy was always called the morrocan when in France.Someone who was born and bred in France, with French citizenship. Then he went to another European country for his masters and while there was referred to as the Frenchman ....leaving him feeling amused and annoyed at the same time cheesy)


Klopp is a german. Right now, anyone with a muslim or arabic name in Germany gets discrimated against. If Klopp was racist, it would make no sense to be supportive of an Arab....

The problem with Mane leaving is simple. Club did not offer him a better deal...which is the same reason why even many white players then and now have left clubs , LFC inclusive.

True, but when Salah turns 35, he has to think of retirement in the next 2-5 years. A UK doctor, when he or she turns 40 has at least 20 more years of working ahead of him/her/they.

(Yeah salah could go into coaching...but not all coaches get the big jobs. Compared to players, there are fewer coaches on bigtime salaries.And not every player wants to be a coach.)

Salah would have left too if say Madrid, Barca or even Man City offered him 600000 pounds a week. (Hey, Messi and Mbappe make even more than that at PSG).
